National Feile - The 2 visiting teams to our club this year will be Kilconieron, Galway (HURLING) and Cappamore, Limerick (CAMOGIE). National Feile is on 19th and 20th June this year. Last year was a massive success and the visiting teams, management, families and friends loved their time in Portaferry. Let us make sure this continues this year. All help needed and most welcome. This is a privilege to host and we will keep our club on the map, as a great club. There will be fundraising events coming up, keep an eye out for posters and on Facebook.

National Feile Fundraiser - An Oil voucher for 300 litres is the prize, tickets are £2 and on sale at The Rock bakery and Arthur butchers. Draw takes place on Saturday 20th June in the Park.

Entertainment Coming Soon -
Mixed Darts in the Park on 23rd May at 8pm, £3 per person. This is a fund raiser for the National Feile. Everyone welcome.
Stephen Smyth playing in the Park on Friday 10th July 9.30pm to late. Tickets are £10 and will be on sale from the Entertainments committee. Everyone welcome, come along for great night of music and craic.
80s Disco Sunday 19thJuly in the Park £5 entry. Come along and start Gala week. Everyone welcome.

Club Draw - There will be a meeting next Sunday, 24th May, at 5-30pm in the clubhouse about a club draw, which will be starting soon. Anyone interested in helping, please come along.

Portaferry Cul Camp - Registration forms will be available from the start of June. 29th June - 3rd July Football, Hurling, Camogie and Rounders. The Cúl Camps are for children who are CURRENTLY in P3 or above. The Cúl Camp runs daily from 10am - 2.30pm
Cúl Camp Price Structure:1st Child - £40, 2nd Child - £35, Each Child Thereafter - £30. Once again Down GAA will be running the Nursery Camp in conjunction with the Cúl Camp for the older kids.
Down GAA Nursery Camps -The Nursery Camps are for children who are CURRENTLY in P1 or P2 in Primary school. The Nursery Camp runs daily from 10am - 12.30pm. Nursery Camp Price Structure: £25 per child

Exams - a lot of our young Camogs and Hurlers have already started exams or will be starting soon. It is similar to playing your sports, put in the hard work and time, and give it your best. Best wishes and good luck to everyone.

Walking Club - there will be a walking club every Friday night leaving from the Park at 6.30pm. Everyone welcome, come along for some exercise and a bit of craic.

U6s and U8s - continues on Friday nights in the Park, 6.30pm start. All new players & parent helpers are very welcome with Helmet & Sticks provided if required. Spread the word.
