FUNDRAISING NIGHT FOR FRANCIS DEVLIN & FAMILY

U14.U16 & U10/U12 PARISH PRE-SEASON FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT!CONTINUES Saturday 28TH February 2015 @ 2pm! If your children missed the first round last Saturday please come along on 28th!PARISH PRE-SEASON FOOTBALL TOURNAMENTS - DAY 1
Over 80 Clonduff youngsters and around 20 mentors converged on Clonduff Park on Saturday 21st February for the first every pre-season juvenile tournament. There were snow showers, lovely sunshine, bitter coldness and fabulous football on offer in the two tournaments - U14/U16 (four teams) and U10/U12 (six teams).
The tournaments continue for the next two Saturdays and if any young person missed out last week please come along on Saturday 28th - there's lots of football left to play!

REGISTRATIONS
All Senior and Juvenile players must be registered before they play any games. All players are reminded that they must also use mouth guards at training as well as in games.

SCÓR SINSIR
A massive congrats and well done to Clonduff competitors in South Down Scór Sinsir Finals in Saval on Sunday evening. They won Instrumental Music (Stephen, Sean & Mary Catherine Murray, Vivienne Mulcahy, Paul Kelly), Ballad Group (Paul Kelly, Agnes Morris, Colleen Walls, Caroline Carvill, Martina Cunningham). Colleen Walls was runner up in Solo Singing. All three acts will be on stage again in County Finals in St Malachy's High School Castlewellan commencing @ 5pm. Clonduff also won the Peter Keenan Memorial Cup for best overall Scór Club having earlier in the season collected the Cathal Sands Memorial Cup for the best Scór na nÓg Club having competed in every juvenile competition! Well done everybody!

CLONDUFF IRISH LANGUAGE OFFICER IN CROKE PARK
Clonduff's Irish language Officer, Plunkett McConville was Down's representative at the Stadium Announcer's training course in Croke Park on Saturday 21st February. Plunkett who is a regular stadium announcer in Pairc Esler attended along with county Irish Cultural Officer Paula Magee.

HANDBALL
Handball Practice is on Saturday (3 - 5pm) and Monday evenings @ 7.30. Anyone else interested in getting involved come into Handball alley on Saturday for a game or ring Sean 07762168624 for inquiries.

Senior game v Crossmaglen in Burren's Malachy Murdock Memorial Tournament postponed due to bereavement in Crossmaglen
Seconds game v Bryansford II didn't happen - Seconds must now wait for first game of season until next week!

IRISH CLASS IN CLUBROOMS Ciarán Dunbarr's Irish Class for Adults in Clonduff Clubrooms will resume on Tuesday 20th January 2015 @ 8pm. There will be two teachers - one catering for completely new beginners and one for the existing, slightly experienced group.
