An Riocht Membership is due before Saturday 28th February, after that date it will not be possible to join An Riocht for 2015; no pay, no play, no tickets. Full Adult £25; Senior Citizen and U18 £10; Family £60, registration forms are available from the Club.

The CUBE is coming to the Kingdom on Saturday 21st March. If you are interested in taking part please contact Tara Campbell, We are looking teams of four to compete against each other. Winning team takes away the prize money, 'Could Your Team beat the CUBE'

Opportunities for jersey sponsorship for the 2015/16 seasons have arisen at Senior Football, Reserve Football, U12 Football, U8 Football and U10 Camogie; if interested contact any committee member.

Michael, Eimear, Noeleen, Jane, June, Leo, Alice, and Patricia attended the Ulster GAA club officer training on Monday past.

The Senior Footballers had Drumragh Sarsfields from Tyrone as visitors to Dunavil in the Ulster League and won handsomely 3-12 to 0-8. Three nil up An Riocht took a decisive grip on proceedings when Declan Doyle met a near perfect Sean Clarke delivery to find the visitors net. By the break An Riocht led 1-8 to 0-4 and two goals from attacking wing back Sean Clarke in the thirty eighth and forty second minutes wrapped up the result. The Reserve Footballers began their league campaign with a walk over Downpatrick at Dunavil.

The Minor Footballers have begun training ahead of their All County League campaign which begins at home to Clonduff on 14th April.

The U14 Footballers have begun training ahead of the first South Down 7-a-side Blitz on Sunday 15th March.

The U12 Footballers playing season begins on 22nd March with a Blitz.

The U16 Footballers league starts on 16th April.

Edmond and Stephen attended the Ulster Coaching Conference on Saturday.

There were four An Riocht players on the Down Minor Camogie side which beat Kildare on Saturday at Dunavil - Lauren Clarke, Aine Fearon, Niamh McDowell, Sinead O'Rourke.

Calling ALL football team mentors / coaches; in our continuing attempts to improve coaching in our Club we intend to sit down with ALL Club Football Coaches at 7.30pm on Thursday 5th March to try to formalise a Club Coaching Plan which we can ALL follow over the next five years. As a current team mentor / coach your input is essential to this process, please do all you can to be there.

Camogie Coaches were ratified at the latest committee meeting this week: Senior Liam Boyle, Sharon Murnaghan and Paul Brown; Minor Ronan Foley; U16 Gavin Finnegan, Joanna Sloan; U14 Louise Rodgers, Louise Clarke; U12, U10 & U8 Claire Connor, Niamh McDowell, Julie Anne McAleenan, Ronan Foley. More help is obviously required, anyone else willing to get involved should contact Chairperson Patricia Clarke, Secretary Emma Jane Magee or Coaching Officer Joe Baldwin asap.

KYC have a street collection on Saturday 7th March in Kilkeel, a rota is being drawn up and all offers of assistance will be gratefully received.
