U21 nears start
October 17, 2014The format and teams for this year's under-21 football championship have been announced.
Seventeen teams will compete in the championship with two groups of six and one group of five making up the format for the group stages.
Three group winners and three runners-up will go through to the knockout stages, which will see a draw between the three winners with one team going through to the A final and the other two in the semi-final.
The runners-up will be drawn the same for the B championship with one team picked to go straight through to the final and the other two battling it out for the right to meet them.
