St Patricks GAC Portaferry Club Notes

- Championships: We are getting to the business end of the season for a lot of our teams. Time to knuckle down, train hard, listen to your coaches and give everything you have. We all have one objective, and that is to do our best for OUR Club and to bring silverware to the Club. Represent OUR Club with respect, pride and passion.

- All-Ireland Junior Camogie Final: Down are the Champions, great fighting display from all the girls. Down 1-12 to Laois 1-8. Massive congrats to all involved, especially our own Niamh Mallon (Captain) and Maria McNally.

- Down Senior Camogie Final: Portaferry v Clonduff on Saturday 20/09/2014 at 3pm in Downpatrick. Please get out and support the girls in their quest for more silverware. Good luck to all involved. Up the Ports.

-  Intermediate Hurling Championship: Semi final - 2nds Hurlers vs Ballycran on Saturday 20/09/14 at 5.30pm in Ballygalget. Please get out and support the lads in their quest for more silverware. Good luck to all involved. Up the Ports.

- Down Club Draw: Paud Mason won the £50.00 in our own club draw of procurers of the Down Club Draw. One final Club draw for £50.00 will take place at Christmas. Winners of August draw are on facebook.

- Well done to our Senior Hurling team defeating Ballygalget 2-25 to 1-8 in the Down Senior Semi final. They will now face Ballycran on Sunday 28th September, time and venue TBC. Also well done to our U16 Hurlers who defeated Ballygalget on a scoreline 3-16 to 6pts in the quarter final, more details to follow.

        -  Annual Club Mass is on Thursday 20/11/2014 at 7.30pm in Clubhouse.

        -  Annual Dinner Dance is on Saturday 29/11/2014. More details to follow.

        -  Annual General Meeting is on Sunday 07/12/2014, time TBC.

-  Rules and Regulations regarding Dogs within the premises of our Parks - Dogs are only allowed on the Club Premises while on a lead and with a responsible owner. It is a must that our parks are kept tidy and clean, and this responsibility lies with the dog owners. At no time are dogs allowed on the playing surface. Thank you for your co-operation.
