Kilcoo Club Notes

The U'12 boys got their season off to a good start with a 5-3 to 0-7 victory over Carryduff in the first of two grading games to determine which league the boys will play in this year.
Playing against a stiff breeze in the first half, Kilcoo played a running game to race into a 4-2 to 0-5 lead by half time. Carryduff came at Kilcoo in the second half but couldn't punch through the Kilcoo rear-guard. The team play their second grading game next Sunday.

Under 16 ladies suffered a comprehensive away defeat to Bredagh on Sunday afternoon.

Seconds had a seven point away win against Rostrevor on Sunday but last Monday night
they suffered a home defeat to neighbours Castlewellan by a single point.

Cill Chua suffered a heavy defeat against Darragh Cross in Pairc Eoghain Rua Kilcoo on
Sunday evening.

Seconds B team suffered defeat for the first time this season at the hands of Longstone
which was played on Thursday night in Kilcoo

Club Óige Eoghain Rua continues in the primary school on Tuesday 6.30 - 8.00pm. £2 per
child.

Sponsored Cycle from Kilcoo to Monaghan town takes place on Saturday 26th April 2014. Any sponsorship money can be received every Tuesday night in April and a deposit should be paid by all participants before Sunday 20th April 2014.

Club membership is now overdue and should be paid to Paddy Morgan or Elaine Burns or any committee member immediately -No pay no play is enforced from April 1st!

Irish Dancing takes place on Wednesday night 7.00 - 8.00 pm in Parish Hall.
