Congratulations to the Eire Og u -12s who won the plate competition of the Ambrose Rogers Memorial Tournament on Saturday morning in the Longstone. Missing from photo is Fodhla Ní Ruagáin.

 Our Seniors had a  comfortable win over neighbours Dundrum at the Quarter Road last Monday   Final score Glasdrumman 4-10  Dundrum 0-11.

 

 Our Yoga group took advantage of the great weather last Monday at the Primary school field before the break for the holidays .  Classes recommence  Monday 16th  July at 7-30 p.m.

 

Our Annual Summer Fest opened with a great day at the Golf Classic in Kilkeel Golf club.  our thanks to all the Club for their great welcome and hospitality on the day, to all who sponsored prizes and especially to all who competed.  1st with 101pts : Kerri Grant ,Michael Mc Dowell Brendan McNamee and Damian Grant, 2nd with 98pts; Colm Cunningham, Frank O'Neill, Mark Trimbleand Pat Mallon. 3rd with 94pts: Eddie Carr, Vince Boden , Patrick Trimble and Steven Cooney. Longest drive on the 18th was won by Micky Donnelly , nearest the pin on the 8th : Robert Stewart, nearest the pin on the 11th: Colm Cunningham and nearest the pin on the 15th was Anthony King. Congratulations to all our prizewinners.

 

Our Annual Cul Camp is up and running. On Tuesday we look forward to our Family & Club Members Walk to Dinnywater. Everyone is welcome to our Juvenile Disco on Friday evening. Our U14 Invitstional 7s takes place on Saturday at 10am. Come along to see an exhibition of youth football. The BBQ will be lit and everyone is welcome. Our Summer BBQ & Live Music is on Saturday evening with Tickets £10. Come along as it's sure to be a great nights craic to finish off the Summer Fest.

 

The Chairman, committee and members of Naoimh Mhuire  C.L.G Glásdromaín  are saddened to learn of the sudden death of Margaret Portsmouth , mother of our esteemed club member Helen Leckey and  beloved grandmother of our Scór instrumentalists  Aoife ,Dana and Maebh, our under 6 players Enya and Fionn and other grandchildren  Ruairi and Conor.  We extend our deepest condolences to the rest of the Portsmouth and Leckey family circles at this sad time , I measc na naomh go raibh sí.

 

We send our best wishes for a speedy recovery to  Sean ( Doogie)McDowell  a valued member  of our senior management  team , after his recent operation.
