Ferry Fit Challenge - came to a close on Saturday night with the Ferry Fit Ball. On behalf of our club, we want to immensely thank the Ferry Fit committee. The time, work, dedication, classes, advice, help, friendly atmosphere you all brought to it was amazing and all the feedback has been extremely positive, the participants don't want it to end. Thank you again. To the team motivators, those who took classes, volunteers, helpers, those at the weigh ins, thank you for everything you have done. Without all of you this great event wouldn't happen. Its heart-warming to see our community and surrounding areas coming together and having great fun. Finally, thanks to all the participants. It is fantastic to see so many people coming together and not only helping themselves but other people, who at the start were strangers and they are now friends for life. There are a lot more healthy people in body and mind now, and this gives the Ferry Fit Committee great pleasure and satisfaction knowing they have helped you all. See you all in 2018.

Strength & Conditioning Program - have we seen the Slaughtneil Camogs and Hurlers in recent times, not only are they talented stick people, but they are conditioned right. This comes from hard work and we believe it is something our young Camogs and Hurlers must do. We have a special 3 Month Fitness Membership in the Sports Centre for just £35.00. This includes unlimited use of the gym and 2 fitness classes per week. Fitness classes will only happen with 20 members minimum. Start date is 15th November and it is for ages 13-17. Big thanks to Gerard McGrattan for sorting this out. This is a great opportunity and one we must make the most of. For more info contact Gerard, application forms are available in the Sports Centre. This is exclusive to our young Camogs and Hurlers. Please make the most of it.
