Burt had nothing left in the tank as they suffered a heavy defeat to Bredagh in the Ulster club IFC yesterday a day after their Donegal final replay win over Milford, which went to extra-time.

Ronan McLaughlin's charges were forced to play twice in the space of 24 hours after the Ulster Council turned down a request to have the provincial preliminary round clash postponed until next Sunday. They needed extra-time to get the better of Milford by 2-11 to 1-12 in Letterkenny's O'Donnell Park on Saturday and, unsurprisingly, were leg weary as they succumbed to their Down opponents on a 0-3 to 2-10 scoreline at the same venue yesterday afternoon.

Alan Davidson set up Conor Francis for Bredagh's first goal in the 23rd minute before the former raised their second green flag three minutes from time.
