Donegal minor Cian Mulligan is enjoying every minute of the build up to Sunday's All-Ireland MFC final against Kerry.

Mulligan is one of the nine representatives (six with the minors and three with the seniors) from the Gaoth Dobhair club that will grace Croke Park on Sunday afternoon.

He admits that the atmosphere in the parish has been electric over the past couple of weeks and stressed to the Donegal Democrat that he is enjoying every moment of it.

"It has been a very memorable year alright, especially with the nine boys from Gaoth Dobhair involved. It is such a big thing now for the club," said Mulligan.

"Everyone is happy and it is the main talking point in the parish at the moment. The Gaoth Dobhair club started a system at underage and it has paid dividends now.

"All my life I have been playing alongside these boys. Carroll (Michael) and Gary (McFadden) are a year younger, but they have always been on our teams."
