Donegal captain Michael Murphy has stressed that their emphatic win over Dublin will count for nothing if they don't beat Kerry.

The sides meet in the All-Ireland SFC final on Sunday afternoon and the Ulster champions are many people's favourites to take the title following their impressive win over the Dubs in the semi final.

However, Murphy is adamant that game is well and truly behind and all they are focused on now is Sunday's decider against the most decorated county in the country.

"It's a fantastic place to be and we're enjoying it," Murphy told the Donegal Democrat. "We're really looking forward to the final but the Dublin result will count for absolutely nothing if we don't come away with the right result in the final.

"That's what the focus is on now and where all our energy will be channelled between now and the final so we get it right on the day. We want to deliver the right kind of performance in this final. Everything else to date means jack all now."
