Minors receive walkover in Ulster League

April 04, 2014
Derry have conceded tomorrow's scheduled Ulster Minor League game to Donegal because of a lack of available players.

With up to 15 players involved with St. Pat's, Maghera who are preparing for Saturday week's Hogan Cup final against Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne of Kerry, and others unavailable due to injury and illness, the Oak Leafers have decided to forfeit the game which was scheduled for Celtic Park.

Donegal, who are managed by Declan Bonner, have six points from a possible six as a result of the walkover and their earlier wins over Fermanagh and Tyrone. Their final outing in Group A will be at home to Antrim on Saturday week, April 12.
