Caolan O'Boyle

(Oldest Posts First)

Can someone tell me is this man not in the Derry squad anymore. And if not why not.
Every week in the league he scores for fun and Derry could do with him.

Are you friends with him orlagh? How do you know? I just heard it was because he wanted to concentrate on club football.

In my opinion O'Boyle is not near ready for the intercounty football. He played against Tyrone and Dublin in the league and was like a fish out of water. Not near strong enough to win his own ball. Against Donegal in the u21s the first physically strong team Derry played he disappeared and I think was eventually taken off. No doubt he has ability, as he showed in his performace against tyrone u21s but unless he bulks up to give him more strenght he will not make at intercounty senior level. He has time on his side as I think he is still under 21 next year.
