On the subject of Paddy, he certainly was a joy to watch on his day and will go down as one of the best (and arguably the best) forward this county has ever produced - Brolly, Downey, Gormley etc played on a great team - Paddy unfortunately played on mediocre Derry Teams and carried us for years - its a tribute to him he is the highest scorer in Ulster football of all time - he beat Oisin McConvilles record and all due respect to Oisin - he would have been getting a hell of a lot of better service on that fine Armagh team than Paddy would have been getting - 2 NFL medals is scant reward for his efforts - as a Derry Fan Paddy i would like to personally thank you for 11 years of blood sweat and tears - it certainly wasnt due to lack of effort on your Part - áth mór
