Former Derry minor star Conor Glass made a big impression on his AFL debut with the Hawthorn Hawks this morning.
The 22-year-old played a major part in their 100-48 success over Freemantle with 15 disposals at 93%, eight intercepts and five marks after coming off the bench early on in the Domain Stadium encounter.
It represents a meteoric rise for the multi-talented Maghera native who only switched to the oval ball code late last year and Hawthorn's official twitter account was certainly impressed...
Tweet6 touches, 3 marks and a tackle already for our debutant @Conor_Glass, not a bad start for the young fella. #AFLFreoHawks #StrongAsOne pic.twitter.com/GuEEq33NHB
