Joe Brolly is set to make a return to our TV screens as a pundit with eir Sport.

The Irish Independent is reporting that the former Derry All-Ireland winner, who was dropped by RTÉ following controversial remarks he made about referee David Gough after he sent off Dublin's Jonny Cooper in last year's drawn All-Ireland SFC final, is expected to provide analysis for the subscription broadcaster who will show 10 Allianz Football League and five Allianz Hurling League games this spring, starting with the mouth-watering clash between Dublin and Kerry at Croke Park on Saturday, January 25.

eir is a pay-per-view station only available to those that pay a subscription or buy eir products. Brolly has been a fierce opponent to the GAA selling its broadcasting rights to pay-per-view Sky in recent years.
