Ziggy Not trying to knock But Hannigan is not even seen as first choice with Donaghmore/Ashbourne management. O Neill was not deemed good enough for the under 21's. Finn has been tried before, Menton would be too slow for a wing defender and if you are going to play him then get him to mark space. Jones has only played a handful of minutes in 2017 and should have got a run as a wing forward in last seasons Derry game. Still too young and not big enough for mid field. Nobody in that full forward line is capable of leading the line and winning ball. Can see why McEntee went for Brian Sheridan. Was any effort made to get Brian Meade back. Ziggy and again I am not trying to fall out with you. Suspect you are from the Ashbourne area. What happened these guys in last years county final with Simonstown? Andy McEntee will have to get outside the Ashbourne, Dunboyne and Ratoath belt. Great at underage but moving up the line ? Must have tried 20 plus players from this part of the world alone since Christmas. Donaghmore may have won championships back in the forties but what did these clubs ever really win at senior level? Dunboyne won two of the easiest championships ever, one by default and the other against a team who flirted with the junior grade in 2016. Okay guys will put this out there. Meath will win on Sunday. Will take the abuse if we don't. The truth of the matter is we need to win. We can't be traveling to cork after another loss thinking we will suddenly turn it around and win on the road. Q: what you guys say to throwing James Conlon in corner forward Sunday. Can he do any worse and I think he would be a maverick element we are missing in the full forward line. If we don't change the full forward line we won't beat Galway and please note that I said that also. Up Meath. Don't think we will get promoted but think we will beat Galway, Fermanagh and Clare. Who knows that may enough but would think we need 10 points to get over the line. I do expect Down and Derry to trip up more teams in the division and thank god we have those games out off the way.
