He has largely same bunch apart from what you said and forde and Menton who refuses to play under mod , however we don't hear excuses we weren't good enough last night. Where did I say otherwise?"
In fact you did! All this stuff about repairing Mick O'Dowds reign!

1.Jack Hannigan
2.Seamas Lavin - would be Tobin if fit
3.Menton
4.McGill
5.Forde
6.Keoghan
7.McEntee - if fit- if not Power
8.Flanagan
9.Toher
10.Eamon Wallace
11.Reilly
12.O'Sullivan
13.McMahon
14.Newman if fit- if not Sheridan
15.Lenihan

Harnan would play if fit!!"
I think you definitely picked our 6 best offensive forwards, but Andy likes to choose a bit of a more defensive team, alan forde and cian O'Brien probably help out a bit more in midfield and in defence, don't agree with peoples opinion with eamon Wallace, he's a class act whos struggling a bit but I would have no problem with him starting

Lot of the Meath lads are still suffering from Shell Shock after Mods reign of terror !

It is reaction to the intensity of the bombardment and fighting that produced a helplessness appearing variously as panic and being scared, or flight, an inability to reason, sleep, walk or talk !

Andy has his hands full..Mods reign of terror is the reason why we lost to kildare , Louth and Derry !

Mods reign of terror on Meath footballers are as follows

1. training equipment not in the right place
2. missing training cone
3. cap of bottle water missing
4.Washing powder used on jersey during Mods reign of terror may have caused discomfort
5. Riverrock water was used instead of ballygowan water on a couple of occasions
6.No drinking alcohol !
7. Drinking to much alcohol !
8.Mod Secretly injurying our best players!
9. Mysterious Farter on Team Bus !
10.Mysterious Farting stopped on team bus when Kevin Reilly retired !
11.Mysterious Farting in Navan
12.More Farting
13.Wet weather

All this had effect on the Meath players..This is Mods fault !

They are scarred for life !

Irrespective of the result on Saturday this would have been a difficult ask. Galway are a decent side.
I'd like to see a pattern of play some sort of idea in attack. Something anything.
Andy needs to start getting his ideas across assuming that lumping it into Sheridan isn't his only idea.

Honestly man I don't know where you going, the fact is we have been a disaster for last 6 years we have beat one team that were at the time ranked higher than us (that was Kildare under banty) since then Kildare have fallen off big time and falling behind us in ranking. what I or anyone else is saying is it will take time, my first post after Andy got job was he had no magic wand, the new strength and conditioning coach said they were not properly trained. These things take time, as it stands there is improvement but it is slight, by end of year is when to judge how far we have come. I wasn't referring to you when I said about lads wanting heads, i t was in reference to those saying we got rid of mod for this etc etc. Get behind manager and players and make a informed decision after a year, not after 3 league games.

It would seem that if your opinion doesn't match some other posters, then you have an agenda and are in someway a lesser supporter.

that doesn't matter to some, they want instant success, after loosing 2 league games some calling for heads. Lucky they only twinkle in eye when Sean had his first few years.

I am just making the point about the poor performances so far and I'm getting silly replys about how people wanted rid of Boylan ! Just to confirm I'm happy with Andy as manager but he is open to criticism!/"
Exactly ........ leave Andy there of course, but he takes the flak when deserved like anyone else. BLIND loyalty is NOT genuine support. Say it as it is,or as you see it at least. Critisism that is aimed at being constructive is never unacceptable. The manager might listen ,maybe take it on board, and still make his own decision. Even this year he has to take a big slice of critisism for some very poor basic stuff .
For me the big question is where are these 8 or 9 players we need firstly??? he has tried them all at this stage. Midfield Flanagan when fit maybe? Newman ? ?????

RD, here is what you said after the Kildare game, word for word:

Andy has a huge job in front of him, the years of damage and psychologcal scars are deep, and it will take Andy time to rectify them.

Obviously you are asking this tongue in cheek. Calling a spade a spade we probably have the best set of players in Div 2 with some winning all ireland u21s of 2001 and 2013 finally fulfilling their potential. However we are clouded by that one disaster result last Summer against Tipp when in reality even on an off day the margin should have been much less. But we capitulated which is not a KW trait. If anything that has grounded KW and the lads and should make us stronger over the course of this season. On the main forum in relation to the Div 2 thread i have differed with RD on Meath in terms of their player potential. However that is not to say the Royals won't turn us over next Sunday even if i feel we have better players currently and certainly better forwards. I usually never fear the opposition only fear ourselves and if we can keep consistency in our play we have the players to deliver on the scoreboard. Having said all this match will be close because the Royals are passionate football people and at some point this season will get a bounce from the new management. As an aside we need Damian Comer and Danny Cummins back from injury asap. Hopefully next weekend. Not missed yesterday as such but Comer in particular is a huge player particularly on the road as proven in Enniskillen and a number of away games over the last 2 seasons.

Absolutely, it's 50/50 IF we bring our A game. But it's a big if.

I know I said that, an stand by it 100%. The part I was referring to was I hadn't said it on the thread or in last 4 weeks so it wasn't relevant. Sorry for wasting your time searching for it. But at least it got you off the Xbox for a bit.

Why is Royaldunne taking such a hard time on here? The majority of us wanted Andy to get the gig and knew he wouldn't be working miracles right away. I'm as disappointed as the next man with the Kildare and Down results but there's nothing we can do about them, we just have to move on to the next match and hope for some consistency in the games ahead.
