Yeah I seen don't know what that's about. I didn't think Dublin were good this year but either Carlow are strong this year or Dublin are very poor. Kildare are good. Next week should give us a good indication

hard to judge in a photo to be honest.

Yeah fair enough. Lot of tall lads on the team in fairness. They were really strong in the tackle today. Impressed me how many turnovers they got

I'd say Coyler has them well drilled for that.

Very good win by the Minors at the weekend. Got off to a bad start but the wind was blowing a gale so it was more about hanging in there.

Joey Donnelly looked sharp but it was more of a team performance than any individual really standing out. Kildare will be a really different challenge and probably a better guide as to where the lads are at.

Poor poor game regardless of the conditions Meath just trying to play some sort of system and just not able to at all bringing to wing forward back bringing out FF and leaving two inside. Coyle just looked at his team seen two lads at 6ft3 and put them centre field both poor and tried to win the game on there running down the middle and both just turned over

Yeah - some of what you say is right - the system is a tough one for the wing forwards who have to cover a lot of ground. I still think as a starting point it was good - next week against Kildare will be a bigger test!

Bit harsh I mean they did only concede 8 points and won the game by 6, we'll see against Kildare but there was grounds for optimism. Atleast they were defensively strong, as the pitches get harder as well that transition will be easier as the ball and the runner travels faster

Looking forward to Meath Kildare minor game this weekend in Dunganny . Kildare will be strong let's hope the Royals are able to compete with them . I imagine there will be a few new boys given a go to give them all a chance . Based on last week's comments it looks positive and this panel can only get better Anybody new to watch out for? .

Yeah - it should be a good game - the weather doesn't look too promising but same for both sides I guess. Bound to be a few changes from last week but most of the lads have been involved in the panel for a while now. It will be interesting to see how they manage the system they are trying to play.

Great win! Meath played with great intensity - very good first half with the wind - two goals really gave them a cushion! Had a man sent off 5 minutes into second half but they still outplayed Kildare even though playing into the wind

There was lots of good performers throughout - about 25 lads got on. Kildare had a strong panel out - missing a couple of lads but so were Meath

Bit early yet to be getting overly excited but a really good show today

Well done lads - keep it going!

Did Coyle use same tactics

Shane Walsh was good and so was Robbie Clarke but genuinely would be hard to be critical of any of the players - they looked fit and they outworked kildare all over the pitch. They were were very good in the first half but the second half was impressive because they were into a wind and down to 14 players and still outscored kildare! Tactics were similar but played them better!

1-15 to 2-4 win over Louth. Wasn't at the game but a good result. Very tough to read into the league (Dublin won it last year and then we hammered them in champo). But the signs are good, onto the semi final now

Yeah - took them a while to get going despite playing with the wind in the first half - but a very good second half performance. Great to go through the league stage unbeaten but it is still early days

Carlow in the semi final is it?
I see they beat Tipperary today having already beaten Wicklow and Dublin.
