Who would have thought it- a favourite got beaten. It's almost as if odds are an inexact science, and that occasionally the underdog wins. Damn sport !

Favourites in bookies are determined by fools betting their money and most of them know little about football. browncows (Meath) - Posts: 2342 - 09/10/2016 19:23:56 1924263 Link 4 |
Many did not have them as favourites (except guys like yourself and some south Meath clubs). They were always going to have difficulty in beating Simonstown and St Pats beat them which was always an indicator that they would not have it their own way. There will be new champions this year and I think it could be another Navan side but then again it is pretty open with all teams having a pretty good chance

Absolutely, you cannot begrude him trying it out in Australia,he could become an Aussie rules star for all we know.It is a pity for us fans, but best of luck to him and he will always be welcome if he ever wanted to come back.

Sorry this has nothing to do with Andy McEntee and iv been away for a year and a half but iv just noticed a new pitch on the trim road just outside navan on the way home from the airport, is it a new pitch for a club or a new club? Sorry if im coming across as ignorant. loyal82royal (Meath) - Posts: 260 - 12/10/2016 22:55:13 1925565 Link 0 |
