I've told the wife I've a conference to attend so I'm arriving to Bangkok 2 days earlier than her! That kind of crafty planning would've been enough to beat the Dubs ;)"

Act quick a are ye mad this will take time. County board will met in August and a committer will be put in place probably the present steering committter of Boylan ORourke and Gerry McEntee think there maybe a couple more on it. The clubs will then have the right to nominate suitable personal and the clubs will get 6 or 8 weeks for that. Then the committee will take 3/4 weeks and come up with a name to go before Management and then at about the October meeting the. Clubs will be asked to ratify a new man.

Gaa don't rush stuff this is not the premiership

Its a podcast rte do called jones road.
I think a long protracted appointment is the last thing Meath football needs. Lets be honest there is one stand out candidate, if he is willing to take the job then as cian and others have said it would be stupid to make the man go through hoops, especially after the way he was treated if he will not take position then yes all the usual stuff must happen, however it would be much better to have Andy in as early as possible.

Just read what Cian Ward said. He did say it was up to the county board to contact him.But is it really? Don't the clubs have to make nominations first?

Royaldunne yes If you need any tips just pop in the Bull anytime. You don't need to make an appointment.

Different times , I would say, and I'm totally taking a stab in the dark here, but cian was involved in minors with Andy?, giving a helping hand, so maybe just maybe he is saying that if you want Andy you have to go after him, ???
If anyone gets what I'm getting at,

It can, but will it??
The precedent was set last year with the way mod was reappointed, they can do what the want when the want, and in this way it would be a proactive move.
