Replying To Wedgie:  "Best of luck to the lads and lassies tomorrow, win lose or draw you've done yourselves and your county proud. An Mhi Abu...."
Next best thing --- if you can't go listen in to full commentary live with Frank Dempsey on LMFM radio. His analyst last time was Brian Gilsenan Kiltale.
LMFM 95.8 you can listen live online even if you are in US or Australia.
Good luck to Camogie and footballers this w/e too

Congratulations Meath after that win today I was listening to it on the radio I had to turn it off a few times my nerves where at me and I am not a huge fan of the hurlers. What bottle to keep going when the chips where down.

Thrilled for the Meath hurlers. You proved you were worthy champions. This was a victory earned the right way. Bet the lad who went down to Waterford is raging? Was Jack Regan injured?

One has to wonder is their a Sean Boylan in disguise in this Meath hurling camp? Could he be persuaded to jump codes to save the footballers, I guess we will just have to wait until tomorrow to see if we can persuade him.

Yesterday was one of the proudest days of my life as a Meath hurling fan, the support was fantastic and there were grown men crying and hugging one another at the final whistle. I said it all along our fitness would carry us over the line, it almost did the first day (if it wasn't for the scoreboard fiasco) and it did yesterday. They put a huge emphasis on physical fitness, strength and conditioning in the hurling camp this season and the S&C coaches should be acknowledged for their contribution to this achievement.
Another factor that can't be overlooked is the team spirit that existed between this bunch of lads, they just clicked, their heads were in the right place they remained totally focused on the prize and functioned as a unit. Couple this with the mental preparations they've gone through, the team meetings, the address by Sean Boylan last Thursday night, eight months of preparation, hard work and training, hail rain or snow and these lads were ready for anything, they'd have won the World Cup after that. This is something the CB should build on and try to roll out over on the football camp, you make your own success you don't just wait for it to drop into your lap.
You don't wish for it you work for it.

They have a lot of what is missing in the football camp to be fair.
