Junior Predictions

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

So yet again, the Junior championship will not be won by a second team. They really need to change the format to make it fairer for the large urban clubs.

Will you get out of that the big urban 2nd teams while they do improve the standard of the junior A yet again have smashed the hopes of many junior clubs but by this time of year have lost so many players they bet beat easily

Sorry. The title doesn't say JUNIOR A predictions. Technically junior B is under junior football so you calm down. And besides, Slane will be JUNIOR A next year.

Yeah it is about junior. The predictions were A & B and C & D once knock outs came . It's only a bit of crack

Glenny on the inside as deman makes a slip and leaves a blank for boarsmill v slane. Right here has a bad day. Deman should have enough cushion to see him home as footballonly does best with 6 out of 7
De-man 128
Glenny 124
Right here 121
Redmeath 80
Footballonly 72

Next weekend sees JFC final. 1 relegation game. Two junior B q/f and junior C final I thi k so 5 games in total

Great to see the fixture committee have Dunsany playing two finals the one day at two different venues. The two games one hour apart.
Well done. And you wonder why Meath gaa is in turmoil? Fail to prepare, Prepare for failure.

I believe the Junior C final has been refixed for 12.30 in Páirc Tailteann as part of a triple header with Junior A final and Senior game between Skryne and Rathkenny. Not sure if that's official though

Hopefully so- that would be a bit of common sense. What would make even more sense is to play the two Dunsany games one after the other, so their supporters don't have to be in Pairc Tailteann all day. I can't understand why the Junior C final was fixed for Trim in the first place, with the Skryne/Rathkenny game in Pairc Tailteann. All finals should be played in Pairc Tailteann bar in exceptional circumstances. The Skyrne/Rathkenny game could have been easily fixed for Seneschalstown or Simonstown and there would have been no need to change anything.

Dunsany Junior A and C Finals are in Pairc Tailteann. On a side note i thought it was a disgrace charging 12e into each of the semi final games for one game. Just madness!

It was 12 euro into Athboy for Bective v Carnaross, thsi is not a venue worthy of a semi final as the dressing rooms are simply not near big enough for any adult squad. The linesman was a Carnaross man decked out in club colours while there were at least 3 neutral stewards standing at the pitch gate keeping it from being charged at by a flashmob. Common sense would have left admission at 10 euro but common sense is all too rare

The 2-30 was a provisional one in trim. Once Dunsany won in A and C it had to be changed.
