I just worked it out based on looking at the tables on Meath GAA.

1 - A1 Vs B3/C3
2 - B1 Vs C2
3 - C1 Vs A3
4 - A2 Vs B2

1 V 4
2 V 3

Same format as always.
Kells V Dunboyne game is fixed for this weekend.
No official confirmation but then the CCC have to meet to set the fixtures I'd imagine

I heard St Pats lost a few players to their seniors in the last round and have been weakened considerably, is that the end of their challenge?

The draw seems to have worked perfectly for Moynalty - although Trim have been getting better so maybe they can challenge them in the semi final, i cant see it happening so it looks like they will cost to Pairc Tailteann.

In the other side of the draw I think Slane will over come Boardsmill in what should be a great game of football. St Vincents should have no issues with St Pats.

So we are left with Slane vs St Vincents....................I just cant call it. Slane seem to be getting better as the rounds go on while the Vincents have slumped slightly.

What do people think?

I seen St Vincents play this year and they have a good team which would challenge some of the Junior teams. However, they are not organised and drilled enough in my opinion, mostly because they are shooting from wayward angles and not recycling the ball and getting it to their scoring forwards. If they rectify this i think they can win it outright otherwise i think Slane, i think its between the winner of them two who i think will both get to the semi final in which i think the winner of Junior B will come from. Dont rate Moynalty as highly as these two even tho Moynalty have already beaten St Vincents.

Yeah I would go with Slane, they have an ability to score goals and that should be the difference.

I think Moynalty will finally do it this year - they have the easier side of the draw and have already beaten Trim (who they're likely to play in the semi final) this year.

Surprised people are underestimating Boardsmill. They're the ones who have come down from Junior A, and they were competitive enough up there. I think it will be a Moynalty v Boardsmill final.

Boardsmill are a Jekyll and Hyde football team.
When they have all their hurlers lining out they are a very good team with a very strong core.
They could upset a few and, as pointed out above, have just come down from Junior A.
They also have a final win over Moynalty in the bank.

Can't see Vincents getting to the final. Bordsmills are the dark horses alright, have gone about their business very quietly so far. How far Trim will go will depend on what players they lose to their intermediates. Slane look to be motoring also and I've heard good things. Interesting to say the least.

THE FIXTURE PLANNER HAD THE QUARTER FINALS OF THE JUNIOR B DOWN FOR THIS COMING WEEKEND AND YET THERE IS STILL NO FIXTURES OUT?

I ASSUME THIS IS DOWN TO BOARDSMILL INVOLVEMENT IN THE HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP - GOOD FORESIGHT TO NOT SEE THEM MAKING THE QUARTER FINALS. WITH 'MILL DOWN TO PLAY THIS WEEKEND, THE 4TH AND THE ALL IRELAND U-21 B HURLING FINAL ON THE 10TH IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE ANYTHING WILL BE PLAYED BEFORE THE 17/18TH OF SEPTEMBER.

CONSIDERING THE TEAMS PLAYED 3 WEEKENDS IN A ROW TO GET THE GROUP STAGES FINISHED AND THE CCCC HAD THE FINAL PENCILED IN FOR 25TH SEPTEMBER - ITS ANOTHER LONG SLOW CLAP FOR THE COUNTY BOARD.

ITS JUST A COMPLETE FARCE THAT TEAMS PLAYED 3 WEEKS IN A ROW AND NOW HAVE TO WAIT A MONTH TO PLAY A Q-FINAL.

Pretty sure Bordsmill aren't the only club with dual players. Makes sense for the fixtures not to be played.

Fixtures are being played out Hurling / Football / Hurling / Football. Can't ask much more than that. Only fair for dual clubs. Some dual players will have 7 or 8 weeks in a row of championship.

I'd say the quarters could be a mid week job for boardsmill and trim, some stage in the next 2 weeks. The other 2 quarters can be played at the weekends.

Well worked out - what calender do you use?!

Junior B

Last Group Games - w/e 13/08/2016

Master Fixture List Q Finals - w/e 28/08/2016

Reality..........

Not even a mention of quarter finals and a lack of respect to these clubs (again) as no indication as to when games might even be played.

And your theory that the county board are running an amazing system of one week football, one week hurling. Haha.

W/E 21/08/2016 - Football for Int/Sen

W/E 28/08/2016 - Hurling

W/E 04/09/2016 - Hurling

W/E 11/09/2016 - Hurling (All Ireland B U-21)

W/E 18/09/2016 - Who knows!!

I never said it was an amazing system.

Just suits the dual clubs to be honest.

Get over it.

simple solution. Burst and Burn all the footballs in Meath. One All Ireland in the bag with two more to be had in next few weeks. Hmm Junior B football or All Ireland Titles?

Honest to god.

There's a better atmosphere at Meath hurling matches these days than football. Croker was bouncing for the Ring finals.

We're a hurling county now biys :)))

Just looking at the pairings and there's the real possibility of a Trim v Boardsmill junior b final, what a matchup that would be having the parish rivals in the decider!

Boardsmill might make the final. Trim have a harder draw and I would imagine they have lost there key players at this stage. Would be a good final though. I'm sure there would be good buzz and craic around that part of the county if it were to happen.
