Ziggy, What "Big Names" had Da Dubs on the line?

Don't think Meath have any "Big Names" on the line with the 15s, a few lads who played with Meath but no AIs in the hip pockets, so Big Names over-rated in my opinion!

Jaysus that's some score, well done to our lads but you'd really have to wonder what Wicklow are doing at underage.

If you can, please get out and support the Minors on wednesday night. they face a big challenge against Kildare who were favourites (and holders) starting out the campaign. However, the lads have put in a huge amount of work and Barry and teh rest of teh management team have them well prepared.

It is unfortunate that whoever loses this game is out - as they are the two best teams in Leinster. The other two teams have already lost but came through the back door route! Seems strange but I suppose that is the luck of the draw!

Good luck to all involved.

To be honest I would hope that Barry and the boys have these guys thinking of how they are going to beat Kildare , and not thinking "Oh we beat Dublin , we're brilliant ". That Dublin team was no great shakes, lost out in GR at U16 level , Kildare are a different question . But Its 15 Vs 15 anything can happen once the head is right . An Mhi Abu

That is certainly the way they are thinking! The focus is totally on beating Kildare!! It is 6 weeks since the Dublin game so it is like starting over!!

Hope the minors do the business tonight and save what has been a bad season all round, on another note how are Kildare not progressing with all this underage talent they have had in the last 5 years. It seems they are regressing instead, strange.

A few injuries and some of the best ones have gone to Australia, also they tend to be bigger than most teams at underage, but that advantage becomes less so at senior.
