A bit close for comfort but Seán Eiffe is coming home. Hopefully that second half test will stand to us. Up against All Ireland favourites St. Mary's Cahirciveen in the semi final in January.

Hard luck to Kiltale.

Fantastic day for Ratoath and for Meath football, emotions were certainly high when the Sean Eiffe Cup was raised by Ratoath hands. Second half became a bit worrying but the response in the face of adversity by these young Ratoath players bodes well for the future, everyone involved is entitled to a good night tonight.

Any reports from the Ratoath game? Scorers and who played well?

Congrats to rathoath. A great win, little nervy in second half but players and sideline soon composed themselves. A great day not only for club but county too. Hopefully they will win all ire now. Fantastic, just what the county needed after a disastrous year.

Well done to Ratoath and best of luck to Curragha!

Great test for Ratoath in the All-Ireland semi coming up against Brian Sheehan and co, think St. Mary's have 7 of the South Kerry team that won the Kerry SFC.

5 Starters on South Kerry team are St Marys players. 3 of them forwards plus Bryan Sheenan at mid field and a wing back. they also had 2 subs.

I was at game on Sunday and the stand out player was St Marys midfielder (not Sheehan). A class act, real powerhouse. but Carrigaline missed very good goal chance and Marys went down field and scored a goal of their own. They are a well balanced team strong throughout. But Carrig played into their hands, only one in full forward line in first half, playing with strong breeze.

Best of luck to Curraha in their Leinster final on Sunday. If they manage to win, they'll more than likely be playing a Kerry team in the All Ireland semi final on the same week as Ratoath. I'd hope if that's the case that the GAA would use their common sense and put the semi finals as a double header. Though a bit to go before we can talk about the possibility of that.

Also, good luck to Dunboyne ladies in their All Ireland final in Limerick on Saturday.

A massive Good Luck to Dunboyne Junior Ladies team this weekend in their All Ireland Final. Would be lovely to see a big Meath crowd down in Limerick on Saturday to support the girls. Terrific achievement for the club already.

Well done to both Curraha and Dunboyne ladies. Fantastic weekend for Meath clubs.
Curraha will likely have to face the massive challenge of Kerry's Templenoe in the semi final assuming the Munster champions beat John Mitchels of the UK. I hope the semi final will be a double header with Ratoath as I think fans of both clubs would like the chance to cheer the other on.

Absolutely, the game should be a double header and well done Curraha, with a lot of negativity around, its great to see Rataoth,Curraha and indeed Dunboyne ladies winning silverware outside of the county.

Rathoath Royal - John Mitchells would be quite strong as British teams go, so its not guaranteed that Templenoe will be facing Curragha. Having said that, the standard of junior and Intermediate football in Kerry is very high, so they would be strong favourites.

Well done to Ratoath for last weekend and well done to Curragha and Dunboyne ladies for winning the All-Ireland, great to see Meath clubs doing well outside the county.

Great weekend for Curragha, Dunboyne and Meath, a big well done to all concerned. I'm hearing Ratoath and Curragha will play at the same venue on the same day if Templenoe qualify and that Limerick will host both matches for a Meath/Kerry double header, I certainly hope they does happen it would make for a great days football
