Guys,as far as I'm aware the Simonstown V Tones result is wrong and the scores should be reversed. Simonstown won in an amazing comeback with Tones 10 Pts up with 5 mins to go. Simonstown by 3 after extra timw. Believe Tones player suffered bad injury 40 min delay. Hope he's ok.

Ratoath underage up to minor level is very strong, they won u16 division 1 championship this year and winning u14 division 1 and the u13s attending feile as Meath representatives and so the Ratoath underage is as strong as ever.

Yeah Simonstown won by 3. It was 1-13 to 1-4 to Tones with 5 left and ended up 1-13 to 4-4. The Tones player broke his knee cap. Disaster for Tones having won the league to lose both championship games and be out.

Fantastic win for Simonstown on Friday, have to say never expected it but just shows how close this years championship is. Tones will be kicking themselves after being well in control. Summerhills win over simonstown just shows you how good they are. Could now be the favourites to win it.. Skryneman1 I think they could trouble your boys

The reality is that cilles are by far the best team left. Simonstown are very poor and Dunboyne will take them by 8/ 10 points. Skryne also too physically small so for me its a Cilles Dunboyne final with Cilles to get revenge for ladt year. On another point it is high time that neutral linesmen or umpires be in place gor championship matches. A lot of offcthe ball stuff on Friday and young players need to be protected. From what i hear 4 tones lads needed treatment after match where they took a lot of physical abuse with no protection from referee

Anyone make their way over to watch Sunmerhill Cilles game Wednesday? Summerhill won after extra time, looked the better team throughout but Colmcilles had a glorious chance to win it at end of the game but 14 somehow missed. Summerhill will be delighted, I did think it would be tight and called a possible draw. Never anything between these rivals. Have to say though the talking point of the night was the referee. 6 reds and not even a dirty game, couldn't believe what I was watching. All in all Summerhill will be delighted to progress, they will be difficult to beat. Poor enough game but they won't mind

I'll preface this by saying Summerhill were full value for the win, regardless of who was reffing I believe s'hill would have won, cilles never got going and it would have been daylight robbery had they won with that last kick. It was a poor game with both sides kicking bad wide after bad wide. The cilles had no answer to s'hills running game and barring a few good saves they should have been home and dry.

On a more serious note the display of officiating was stunning. If that was dunboyne or D/A playing I seriously doubt the game would have been reffed the way it was.

Massive disappointment for the Tones losing to Simmonstown. Can only write about it now. I predicted a 15 point win -and with only a few minutes left we were 10/11 points up. tactical calls made from the sideline proved disasterous -and in extra time we lost our way after the injury. A lesson for our lads-must play to the final whistle. Unfilled potential. so 6 left standing.

Dunboyne lost Skryne. But they will be the team to beat.Expect Them to beat Simmonstown next week but I did say Sim were the dark horses if they have all their players.Interesting game-But if Jones and Mcentee are on form they should make the semi.Verdict Dunboyne

The hill beat the Cilles in extra time. They are second favourites to Dunboyne. They bossed midfield and possession v the Cilles but the Cilles inside line are dangerous despite living on scraps. The Hill pulled away only when Cilles lost players.Neutrals amused at how the game ended-red cards flashing about the place though not a bad blow struck in the game. Cilles may struggle V Don Ash if they play like that again. Verdict. Don Ash

Good win yesterday for Cilles, was over in Navan never seen it. Anybody make an appearance? What way does that leave the semi draw? Dunboynes minors looked good yesterday in the senior semi, wonder will they produce the goods again this year?

Think semi final pairings depend on Simonstown V Dunboyne result. If Simonstown win They'll face Cilles and Summerhill play Skryne as none of these pairings have already met. If Dunboyne win They'll face Summerhill, and Skryne play Cilles. All neutral venues from now on.

Is Pairc T being used for matches Saturday? Most important grade in the club scene and minors can't use the main pitch. Usually goes down as a double header I think. Any idea why?

minor final on tomorrow saturday 24th. Summerhill v Skryne.2 traditional power houses of meath fotoball. Interesting that neither would be considered a large urban center nor a destination of a large influx of dublin emigrees. So well done to both on reaching the final of the blue ribband trophy of underage football in meath. Who will win? Summerhill have won at u 14 and u 16 so there is no doubting the pedigree of the team- With a man in charge who has a celtic cross in his drawer they are not lacking in experience at the helm. On the other hand the |Hill were lucky enough to beat the Cilles in the campaign to date- a bad miss by the kills at the death -followed by several sendings off-ensured the hill won. On the other hand Skryne were convincing winners over the cilles so logic suggests they should win.At the start of the year I predicted Tones to win with the Hill as a threat and skryne to win the minor in 2016. So we will stick by the Hill to win in a tight game -based on their experience in winning tight championship games-with skryne to benefit from the experience nexy year.

Disagree I feel oldcastle will destroy jenkinstown and I believe boardsmill/ballivor will have too much for Gael colmcille but that's just my opinion. I'm neutral by the way
