I'd love to know we're people are getting that Power is unavailable, asked around my club (Ratoath) and the lads of team said that he's fully committed to the Green next!!

someone on the internet said Power was unavailable so it must be true!!!!!

If hes available brilliant because at the rate players are dropping out he'll be a certain starter next year and possibly in the 6 jersey.

____________

Barry Dardis is a nice footballer....has the equipment to be a good county footballer if worked hard, reminds me Anthony Mcfadden from Donegal.

Yeah, Dardis has loads of ability. With good management he could go very well. Has the potential to explode during games

An experimental Meath played Cavan last week in Skryne.

Meath: Jack Hannigan (Donaghmore/Ashbourne), Simon Carty (Dunderry), Alan Douglas (Trim), Barry Tormay (Gaeil Colmcille), Padraig Geraghty (Summerhill), Cathal Finn (Dunboyne), Terry Skelly (Drumcontath), Cian O'Brien (Ratoath), Niall O'Reilly (Wolfe Tones), James Toher (Trim), Bobby O'Brien (Ratoath), Cian Mallen (Ballinlough), Anthony Burke (Duleek/Bellewstown), Conor Smith (St. Ultans), Mark Battersby (Skryne).

Subs: Fionn Reilly (Gaeil Colmcille), Michael Flood (St. Brigids), Ben Duggan (Dunshaughlin), Thomas O'Reilly (Wolfe Tones).

This info appeared in this weeks Meath Chronicle along with the news that Brian Menton and Shane O'Rourke will miss the early part of the year due to taking a break from inter county football. Conor Gillespie, Mark O'Sullivan and Adam Flanagan are expected to miss out because of injury while Damien Carroll and Jamie Queeney are expected to play no part in 2016.

Then in relation to the S&C side of things Ciaran McDonagh has gone, leaving Eugene Eivers in charge. Dr. Clarke has retired from his role with Dr. Seamus McMenamin the new main doctor.

Not worried about O'Rourke. Menton will be missed. Is Gillespie gone for 2016?! We're snookered if he is

Gillespie will be lucky to pull on the club jersey again let alone the county jersey.

Bad injury.

Ziggy - I don't know if that means he's definitely gone or now but even if he is back at some stage it will take him a ling time to get back to where he was the time Summerhill won their last Senior Champ when he really looked like a top midfielder coming through - that's if he ever gets back to that stage after a few years out.

Ziggy - He did but he's was probably at about 50% coming on, hobbling around, last throw of the dice by Summerhill that day. He has a long road to recovery so I believe.
