Micko will be back in again

Richieq you know more often than not i agree with you, but i think having Joey on senior team is doing him a disservice. In many a fans view he is beyond redemption, as in they will always be whinging about him. I feel mod constantly putting too much pressure on him.
I really think he is a excellent prospect but next year i want to see him on 21s and not near seniors.
Also was speaking to the trainer of my old club and he was surprised how unfit the county player/s were after coming back from Meath panel.
"one of them couldn't keep up with the other lads , i thought he had a knock, but he hadn't".
That's a worry in anyone world.

I was Sitting among the Kerry and Mayo fans last year at croke park semi final..and the moans of the kerry fans when they brought Kieran Donaghy on...one Kerry fan said "jeez would he not be better putting a young lad on,Mayo know we are just going to lump the ball forward now " the Kerry fan was correct and right..it wasn't a plan B or C or D...just desperation really on Éamonn Fitzmaurice part! It could have made him look bad and question would have been asked if Kieran Donaghy did not turn the game around for him...ok i know Joe Sherdian is no Kieran Donaghy but Westmeath are not Mayo either!

Mod could well be a genius if Joey Wallace came up with the goods against Armagh last year and Tyrone this year...but how unfair is it to send a young lad on and expect him to pull a rabbit out of the hat! Wet day and all the Armagh and Tyrone game...i would have Joe Sherdian on both games if he failed well and good it would have been me the manger that would have been ask tough Question..not the question why is Joey Wallace on the Team,a good manger will always protect his young players!

Look it works out for some mangers and it doesn't work out for others..i really truly hope it works out for Mick O'Dowd

Sure why wouldn't mod bring back gg while he's at it?

Glory years are over lads. Get over it.

Bert i don't think anyone thinks we can return to the glory years anytime soon, but we are better than clapping ourselves on the back for a defeat to a bad Westmeath team.

Surely it is time for mod ti admit his mistakes and make amends , bring back Chris O'Connor for starters , and get in proper fitness coach.
I hope whoever the selectors are they are given a free reign to select the best players in county and not what micko says, as he has shown over and over again he hasn't a clue.

unfortunatly it looks like both county board and clubs are going with that view also; glory days are over, what can we do about it, best to leave things as they are, etc ect. Good to see future of Meath football is such proactive hands. Would not blame MOD for any of this blatent disinterest. He may be the only one in this mess that really has an interest. Hope he gets a couple of selectors who can assist him with tactics and general team preparation. All we can do is wish him the best of luck for next year
