Ziggy

Don't think it's being televised. Looks Luke hurling instead.

Incidentally, were none of the 1b games televised either? Really seems to be the bad side of the draw.....

Disaster, very rarely miss a Meath champ game,so not even to be able to see it on tv will be a killer :(

Don't worry ziggy, you won't be missing much, that's no real consolation I know, I hate missing championship games as well, but I'd say you may get a feeling of relief come 4.30 on Saturday that you didn't waste your petrol.

Well capable of winning the game, player for player yes,but a lot of other factors to consider.

Not a great time for throw in but given the weekend that's in it I'm not surprised, let's just get as many royalers into Omagh as we can next Saturday, very possible to win this game if our mental state has been addressed.....

I know we're well capable of winning the game player for player as ziggy said and I'm genuinely not worried about Tyrone. I'm worried about us, I'm worried about our fitness, I'm worried about management and I'm worried about the mental fragility of our team, we haven't responded well to crushing defeats in recent history but I really hope that changes on Saturday.

Hopefully a big crowd travel for this. Win and we're set up for a decent run. There's always hope and Tyrone have a shocking record in Omagh lately.

Htaem I agree especially about our mental fragility factor. I believe we can paper over the cracks and win this one. I would think players are very frustrated and annoyed, and just want to give it one helluva lash. Hoping to pick up most breaking ball in middle third with maximum workrate and outscore them. At this point we cannot expect to win with any other approach. Our physical fitness will be fully tested ,and we will probably have to use 5 subs wisely.Mental toughness will be absolutely vital,as will a good dollop of luck.It is down to the 20 lads to give it everything. We will maximise support for their efforts. I hope on this occasion players will not be inhibited by wondering "what am i supposed to do now with the game plan" For now use your instinct! Help ,and be helped as needed. If you lose possession give it everything to win it back. Remember there are thousands of Meath men who would love to be wearing your jersey right now. Best of luck to MICKO and his WARRIORS !! We all live in HOPE !!

Prior to Sunday, Cork were on the receiving end of a lot of negative comment and deservedly so. They responded with a performance and were unlucky not to get the win. If our lads can rise above the negativity and put in a performance worthy of the jersey, then this is very winnable. I believe they can and will!

Played game behind closed doors on Saturday.Dont know who we played .Did hear o rourke, carroll started Gillespie played 20 mins. This is going to be interesting game and I can see black or red card in first 25 mins maybe sooner. It also has been confirmed to me that boylan spoke to players last Thursday night and he attended training wow a lot going on.What has been said a lot recently is who ever is in charge next year they will bring geraghty and moyles in for sure.
Moyles has become a hot topic in last few months and is very well respected in all circles including micko .
Personally lets hope everyone gets behind them on Saturday and see what happens.I know our defense is shaky but looking at Kerry yesterday they are also very shaky and cork also on a tighter pitch than croker.
I would like to see biggy as a third midfielder sunday with a licence to get on ball and have that role of attack at will.
I would like to see this team
MC HUGH 2-DONAL 3-K REILLY 4-MCGILL 5-MCENTEE 6-TOBIN 7-HARNAN 8-GILLESPIE OR ROONEY 9-MENTON 10-WALLACE 11-CARROLL 12-BIGGY 13-MCMAHON 14 OROURKE 15 BRAY.2 MAN FULL FORWARD LINE BRAY AND OROURKE WITH MCMAHON FLOATING OFF THEM.CARROLL SIT IN FRONT OF HALF BACK LINE AND BE LINK MAN.IF KEVIN DOESNT START PLAY BURKE.TORMEY IS NOT FIT AND I WOULD BRING HIM AND GILLESPIE IN WITH 20 MINS TO GO IF GILLESPIE CANT START.
THIS TEAM HAS MORE SHAPE AND STRENGHT TO IT.
ZIGGY AND ROYAL DUNNE LOVE TO HEAR YOUR THOUGHTS.
MEATH WILL GET GOALS SATURDAY
BIG GAME FROM MENTON WHO I HAVE HEARD HAS BEEN VERY VOCAL AT PRACTICE IN A POSITIVE WAY.
COME ON THE ROYALS
