meath.herald.1 Its grand to say nobody from north of Navan on the team, so you must feel somebody is hard done by in being left out, yet I cant figure who that may be.?? urizen (Meath) - Posts: 115 - 12/06/2015 09:20:25 1735859 Link 0 |

Jesus very lucky we are not playing a team of higher standard(I think),but serious worries regardless. We know about all the players who are injured and the doubt over Tobin. But were is McGill and Eamonn Wallace?? ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 12/06/2015 10:19:28 1735889 Link 0 |
Just saw the team and my response is purely WTF!!!! brian (Meath) - Posts: 1954 - 12/06/2015 10:21:55 1735890 Link 0 |
With the players out,Reilly and McGill,I would also be playing Keoghan full back and move Tobin out.Very surprised with such a young team, that Burke is not playing. Not sure why E.Wallace isn't playing as I don't think he is injured.. ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 12/06/2015 10:22:35 1735892 Link 0 |
I'm that shocked I didn't even notice Burke wasn't on the team sheet.. #dumbfounded brian (Meath) - Posts: 1954 - 12/06/2015 10:29:05 1735896 Link 0 |

Yes, are Eamonn Wallace and Conor McGill also injured? Considering the list of injuries and previous performances they surely should start if fit?? trim1 (Meath) - Posts: 162 - 12/06/2015 10:35:49 1735899 Link 0 |

Interesting team, we certainly cant say that youth isnt being given its fling, I'm presuming McGill must have a knock as I would have had him as a nailed on starter given his performances, lets not knock O'Dowd on this we could be singing his praises Sunday evening, as I said before its an opportunity for some young players to really stake a claim on this team with a few more mature disciples stalking the sidelines if needed, we shall see..... Id say some of the injuries are exaggerated. I think mcgill had some sort of hand injury, nothing serious. Disappointed to see such a talented scoring forward in james mcentee stuck in the backs. ClassApart (Meath) - Posts: 1200 - 12/06/2015 10:52:46 1735914 Link 0 |

Two chances that 15 will line out at throw in. highking12 (Meath) - Posts: 184 - 12/06/2015 11:10:01 1735926 Link 0 |
McGill suffered a hand injury at work, that's why he's not starting - he was nailed on for full back only for that. A weaker looking team than we expected but remember that during the league the team that started was always different to the team named earlier in the week. Tobin never carrying a knock so don't know where yee got that from. Mcentee playing corner back cause 90% of div 3 and 4 teams drop corner forward out the field...mcentee will be a free man with license too get up and down. Corner forwards are a worry southmeathgael (Meath) - Posts: 889 - 12/06/2015 11:23:22 1735933 Link 0 |
What is the rule on naming the team and the team that starts. I thought from this year that the team named must start unless a genuine injury occurs? Irish_downunder (Meath) - Posts: 630 - 12/06/2015 11:26:25 1735934 Link 0 |

Yeah McGill is injured, I heard early in the week it was a muscle injury in his leg but im open to correction on that. Regarding the frees, they will probably between Tormey, McMahon and O'Rourke. I also cant understand why joey wallace is in ahead of eamon however i still expect us to win comfortably. royalfan4life (Meath) - Posts: 76 - 12/06/2015 11:35:16 1735942 Link 0 |
Eamonn must have some sort of a knock,otherwise it is a bizarre decision. ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 12/06/2015 13:04:11 1736008 Link 0 |
