Rathmolyon has a great sod for hurling. showforit (Meath) - Posts: 156 - 22/04/2015 21:20:04 1716568 Link 0 |
Dunsaughlin's pitch was absolutely superb last summer, a credit it to the club. Skyrne is a great place for a championship game as well, great feeling of tradition and history about the place. Crinigan (Meath) - Posts: 1318 - 23/04/2015 09:57:22 1716615 Link 0 |
Whatever about the stand in Navan but the pitch most of the time is a pleasure to play on! As for the worst it's got to be Clonard although Ballinabrackey is brutal too! Meathmaster (Meath) - Posts: 251 - 23/04/2015 10:59:24 1716631 Link 0 |
Most grounds have improved significantly over the last 10 years. When I consider best grounds I first look at the pitch as that is where you play. browncows (Meath) - Posts: 2342 - 23/04/2015 11:51:37 1716653 Link 0 |

Ashbourne's pitches are being relayed for summer, facilities wise they are probably top, but playing on a windy day is a nightmare. Only been to Stamullen's twice recently, but quality as well so it is RR (Meath) - Posts: 139 - 24/04/2015 18:51:52 1717244 Link 0 |

How people can come on here and say Navan has a good surface is beyond me. Laois minors objected to playing on it as its a health risk. Now the U21 final has been taken out of it due to the surface being unsafe. Well done Co committe give yourself a big clap on the back. The laugh of the country again. latouche25 (Meath) - Posts: 520 - 27/04/2015 21:12:07 1718226 Link 0 |
