Rathmolyon has a great sod for hurling.
Enjoy watching matches in moynalty or from the terrace in simonstown

Dunsaughlin's pitch was absolutely superb last summer, a credit it to the club. Skyrne is a great place for a championship game as well, great feeling of tradition and history about the place.

Wolfe Tones pitch also usually in good nick and its an old school grounds.

Not at all a fan of ashbourne for playing in (like playing in middle of a housing estate), same with Trim...far too wind-swept for me. I prefer my traditional grounds like Slane, Kilcloone, Moynalvey,Rathkenny,Cortown, Kilmainham etc. with nice rows of trees surrounding the pitch and the pitch itself is a nice size, not a hurling field like Trim or Batterstown where you get tired looking at it, nevermind running up and down it.

Whatever about the stand in Navan but the pitch most of the time is a pleasure to play on! As for the worst it's got to be Clonard although Ballinabrackey is brutal too!

Most grounds have improved significantly over the last 10 years. When I consider best grounds I first look at the pitch as that is where you play.
1 - St Pats and there facilities are top class
2. Don/Ash

After that you have Trim, Ratoath
Plus at least another 15-20. Some clubs have not yet opened up their new pitches. In terms of natural surfaces I was impressed with the Wood.
Trim must have one the worst location in terms of getting out of the grounds after a match -very good facilities though.
Kells in terms of ground would be up there with the best.
Some of the clubs ground mentioned have pitches with excellent summer surface but very poor in the middle of winter
Navan before training caused problems is one of the best in the Country. I hope everything goes well with the u21 final and that we do not have any holdups! or large Q's

Stalmullen for me. Don't think it's fair to pick the worst so in my greatness I wont

Ashbourne's pitches are being relayed for summer, facilities wise they are probably top, but playing on a windy day is a nightmare. Only been to Stamullen's twice recently, but quality as well so it is

How people can come on here and say Navan has a good surface is beyond me. Laois minors objected to playing on it as its a health risk. Now the U21 final has been taken out of it due to the surface being unsafe. Well done Co committe give yourself a big clap on the back. The laugh of the country again.
