Mark Collins & Podge Howard were both missing. They're a fairly light team as well, not much physicality going on.

5 out of 8 for me!

Always hard to call a draw, thought Pats might surprise Skyrne..

Full credit to Joey Farrelly and his team for a superb turnaround in Walterstown's fortunes after too many years of neglect, many months of hard work seem to be showing reward.

Elsewhere results went as expected

Let's see what you're made of now Glenny! A lot of easy-to-call games last weekend. Bit more difficult this weekend!

Blackhall -v- Na Fiana: Na Fianna by 5+ to much class and speed in the Na Fianna team
Dunboyne -v- Wolfe Tones: Dunboyne by 2 Dunboyne always start the year well and fade out, almost opposite with Wolfe Tones
Don/Ash v Navan O Mahoneys: Navan by 3 Tomrey missing is massive loss for ashbourne, Navan to repeat last years final result

St Peters v Wolfe Tones; Should be a good game, Tones without Cian Ward is a big call but they have fine young players also, Ward would be worth 1-2 or 4 points thats what Dunboyne will win by.

Don/Ash v OMahonys; OMahonys in cruise control last week and to be honest so was Don/Ash, who will win this one Navan where well better in County Final, but can be caught like simonstown did last year Don/Ash also can blow hot and cold, Tormey prob still out Navan to learn from Round Robin defeat last year and win here

Na Fianna v Blackhall; 2 years ago Blackhall beat the Enfield lads, Blackhall not great but wont lie down, Na Fianna dont like Summerhill pitch it wont level things out much Na Fianna to win

Forgot Tones were missing Cian Ward,so I will change my mind and go for a Dunboyne win here..

went to watch Skryne last weekend, very impressed when they moved the ball fast. Paddy going to be very difficult to stop if they use him more. Surprised Meath have never given him another look at full forward. Cant see too many full backs being able to handle that size of a man who can turn quick enough

Keeks

He is by far the best keeper in Meath and isn't mobile enough for inter-county football
