Good win for drumcondrath today. could go far this year. the result doesn't show how easily they won. didn't like the 2 teams playing blanket defence but drums did it much more effectively. Clonard i thought were poor. they played the blanket defence but were very slow moving forward to counter attack. they will need a major improvement in tactics and fight if there going to get out of the group but good luck to both teams

Good win for drumconrath alright, clonard were very poor so I wouldn't take much heed into drumconraths win, they got the job done but were lucky with 2 jammy goals! Dunsany beat skryne maybe things looking up for dunsany?

Clinical from bective at the weekend , mcconnells were very good (ciaran and cathal) with keeper making a great penalty save. Hope they can maintain their form, championship glory beckons for the green half of navan.

The green half?! Surely it's the green third? ;-)

Great save by Shane 'the cat' Breslin. 40 years of age and still going strong!

Meath Hill v OMahonys; The word is the Down man will play for the Hill, Kearney the manager must be worth a few points, but this is a decent OMahonys side not missing too many to Seniors, OMahonys to win

Boardsmill v Bective; Both won last week but Bectives win was impressive, maybe they gonna do something this year, Boardsmill beat a poor Moylagh side and for them thats job done for year and safe from relegation, Bective for me.

Dunshaughlin v Dunboyne; Washed out last week, That will be Dunshaughlins lot again as Dunboyne head to top this group.

Wolfe Tones v Moylagh; Moylagh in trouble manager gone Willie McGrath not playing Wolfe to add to there woes

Clonard v Carnaross; Carnaross a little unlucky to lose, Clonard looked well back on the Semi Finalists they were last year, Clonard lack poke, Carnaross with Magees have a bit and that might be enough

St Brigids v Summerhill; The Hill be tough cookies early on but Ballinacree are a decent side not much to chose but Brigids maybe.

Meath Hill v NOM - ya Navans second team still has some quality players on it,Meath Hill are not a bad outfit at this level, tough call, but I will go NOM

Boardsmill v Bective - Bective had a good win last week,I expect them to keep that going

Dunshaughlin v Dunboyne - Dunboyne for me

Carnaross v Clonard - Clonard will be disappointed with their defeat last week,I reckon they will hit back!

St.Brigids v Summerhill - Summerhill to pinch it

Clonard lose again today, shooting letting them down big time, Carnaross nothing great either, forwards very poor for both teams Clonard will be dissapointed to come away without a win

Carnaross very lucky enough to come away with the win today, Clonard's shooting really let them down. They missed two open goals and a lot of scoreable frees. It's a tough group to call now Drumconrath and Carnaross next should be an exciting tussle.

I played Junior football for my club many a time came very close to winning it on a few occasions
but it wasn't to be..my club is now intermediate and I missed out on the glory of winning the championship
but I was so proud the day they won it..I was in London and I celebrated with a few bevys!! I always remember
a few famous words from Liam Harnan regarding the junior championship he said
"it's the hardest, toughest championship to win and when you've won it..you've won nothing"
I disagree with the "won nothing" bit but I see where he was coming from

4 out of 6 here but the County Board did a sneaky thing on me switching the Tones Moylagh to after the Senior one and so Corrigan was lost to the Junior side. If I had known that I would have gone for the Moylagh boys. The other one was a tight one 1 point for Summerhill so the Great Glenny is still the Great one

Gr8 weekends football played in stunning weather by all accounts. Interesting how c-ship is hotting up. Nonetheless some unsavoury scenes at moynalty on fri evening in m-hill v nom game with players and officials from both sides clashing in an incident none of us wanted to see. On a more positive note, moynalty pitch was in fantastic order along with all others. Roll on next week.

couldn't agree more mclovin96, myself and the owl beloved hitch-hiker fungus Jim went to see meath hill vs NOM on friday night. from a neutral perspective but also a member of the north meath union you never want to see a navan team win. but after the carryin'-on that meath hill were at the other night i was hoping navan would run away with it. did two navan players get knocked out? Bective look like the team to beat this year. Great work by groundsmen across the county all though pitches in marvellous condition

Bective like like an unstoppable force with the McConnells firing on all cylinders up front. Write them off at your peril

bective have beat no one yet, they beat curragha with their two best players and would be expected to beat boardsmill
