While Longford will be no push over, i think we should win. Great to have both teams in Leinster final. Best wishes. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 17/05/2015 19:59:48 1724686 Link 0 |
Longford will not be an easy game by any stretch. Having to go there makes the game a lot trickier. They'll likely have every man and his dog there which will make it intimidating to play there and of course the length of time spent on a bus comes into it too. At any rate I still see a Meath win but it won't be any kind of walk over. FG56 (Meath) - Posts: 7 - 25/05/2015 08:38:18 1727921 Link 0 |

So far a very disappointing week for Meath. Apparently a very poor performance from Meath today,we really need to be doing better at underage. We should not be losing to the likes of Longford at this level on a regular basis.I had high hopes for this team,I just wonder if the coaches are good enough. ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 27/06/2015 16:19:22 1743429 Link 0 |

Ziggy- nail on head. Ffs we really need to sort out the coaching. Been saying it for ages. Terrible display. bert09 (Meath) - Posts: 1792 - 27/06/2015 16:25:15 1743431 Link 0 |
On the way home from Longford and I am absolutely gutted. We just didn't play at all. A 10 minute patch in the 2nd half where we started scoring. Lads looked nervous and the wet day didn't help things. I was hoping that a Leinster minor would come out off this team but it isn't to be LeitrimRoyal99 (Meath) - Posts: 1464 - 27/06/2015 16:28:28 1743432 Link 0 |

Yet another disappointment for Meath footballers at underage level. Meath seniors will likely suffer the most in the years ahead. Mr_Pundit (UK) - Posts: 677 - 27/06/2015 17:28:43 1743453 Link 0 |
How do we expect to close the gap on Dublin or even keep ahead of the rest of the teams in Leinster if we keep getting results like this? ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 27/06/2015 17:34:27 1743457 Link 0 |

Counties like Tipperary and Roscommon do not have millions,to say "ah sure Dublin have millions" is no excuse for us not to be doing better. If we have that attitude as a county,we may as well forget about it... ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 27/06/2015 19:13:10 1743488 Link 0 |

Unlucky today lads. No shame losing to a Longford side who just had that little bit of class to get them over the line MartinGerard (Longford) - Posts: 275 - 27/06/2015 20:15:54 1743514 Link 0 |
