Start the ball rolling..

Ratoath vs Ballinabrackey - Think Ratoath should come through this one, Ratoath by 4-7
St. Michaels vs St. Colmcilles - Going with a close win for the cilles here, a good league campaign should stand to them, Cilles by 3-5
Nobber v Castletown - Toughest game of the QF to call, could go either way. If I had to bet I'd tip Nobber to prevail. Nobber by 3-5
Trim vs Kilmainham - Another close one to call, going with a Trim win here. Trim by 5/6

How are you feeling about Saturday lutch?
I'm bricking it already. Our games so far have been workmanlike victories but haven't been entirely comfortable. Usually a good 10-20 minute spell in the second half from us was enough to finish off the opposition. Haven't met anyone of the Bracks' quality though so we're going to have to put in a more complete performance this time. Our shots from distance are going to have to improve if last year's semi final is anything to go by.

Hoping for another good game between the sides. We've played 3 championship games in recent times and they have all been exciting ones. Hoping the blue and gold can come out on top this time.

Ratoath vs Ballinabrackey - Ratoath should be comfortable

St. Michaels vs St. Colmcilles - very close to call. Cilles to edge it but not much in it

Nobber v Castletown - stand out game of the Quarters, could go either way. Nobber narrowly but not confident in that view

Trim vs Kilmainham - Trim by 4-5

From the outside looking in Ratoath should be too good for the Bracks but I'm really nervous and hope Ratoath have learned from past experiences in championship and finally get over the line

Nobber to win in a battle

Cilles by 5+

Trim by the minimum based on their experience getting them over the line.

I disagree Charles about a week been plenty of time,id say its because of the ratoath 7"s been on the following weekend is the main reason.Counting chickens before they hatch comes to mind.

Looking forward to a good game Ratoath royal, some good players on display from both sides but individuals wont win these games, teams do.

Ratoath vs Ballinabrackey - On paper Ratoath should be winning this one however they will have their work cut out to beat my beloved Bracks,Should be a great battle, bracks will love a battle, ratoath wont - Bracks to march on

St. Michaels vs St. Colmcilles - St Michaels to win a close encounter.

Nobber v Castletown - The Daddies have hit form just at the right time and will win this one.

Trim vs Kilmainham - Trims experience might just get them through but this Kilmainham team are really turning up on championship Days, very tough to call, gonna stick my neck out and say Trim by a whisker.

Naw brought forward due to U21 Hurling. Get the Chip off the shoulder and quit thinking everyone out to do ye.

St Colmcilles v St Michaels...Cilles usually collaspe around now Philip Rogers and JB Reilly big losses to Michaels. Cilles will need to pick up on Drumbaragh game but I think they will Mikes bet them 2 years ago at same stage Once bitten twice shy Cilles to win.

Ratoath v Ballinabrackey. Probably the best chance of beating Rathoath is here and by the Bracks. They will be ready Ratoath will remember last year can they reverse the result I think they will by more than most expect.

Trim v Kilmainham. Kilmainham have suprised most by making it this far but come to think of it so have Trim. But both are there on merit and one will be in a Semi Final which one toss of a coin. I think Kilmainham maybe the one to win

Castletown v Nobber. 2 Wins and Castletown are on a run. It seems a while since Nobber has a serious game. Two Nil to Nobber in 2015 can it be 3rd time lucky for the Daddies. Castletown bound to have a few knocks but Word is Brian Farrell is troubled with injury Nobber will need him firing near full belt to win so. Nobber will dominate around the middle maybe not by as much in Boinne Final and that along with Farrell in a hobble could see Nobber bobble and the Daddies win by 2

Relegation
Ultans to beat Clan na Gael as Athboy look Junior straight in the face

Meath U21 hurlers play in the AI B final on saturday the 12th. There was a weekend of club hurling matches originally scheduled for that weekend. To avoid a clash, the football originally scheduled for the 19th/20th was brought back a week, and the hurling was moved to the 19th. Jumped to quite a conclusion with blaming the Ratoath 7s there...

Aw now someone from Bracky without a chip on the shoulder at least your balanced.... a chip on each. Senior is a week behind due to quarter final playoff only played last night and so last of quarter finals will be played next week. Anyway the Senior Final is not till 18th while the IFC one is on 4th Oct.

Impressive second half display from ourselves again. Game was in the melting pot at half time but 3 early goals meant the game was over with 20 minutes to go. Could see the passion in the team that was lacking in last year's semi final defeat. Defence have really improved in the last 3 games when we've conceded just 19 points.
Colmcilles next week may come too early for Joey Wallace though.

Eamonn played. First game since he was back from the States. Best players were Conor Rooney, Bobby O'Brien and Cian O'Brien.
Cilles game is interesting. Our defence has been good over the last few weeks but this will be another step up.

Well done Ratoath Royal & well done to Ratoath,1-15 yee were excellent from start to finish, was really impressed with ratoath yesterday, our lads did well but were living on scraps for first half, great match up with eamon wallace & nicky judge but yee were superior in other positions especially mid field,it was hard enough for us but gifting yee 2 early goals in the second half ended the contest, best of luck going forward, its ratoaths to loose and by what i witnessed yesterday yee could trouble plenty of senior teams next year.

Ratoath absolutely flying lads, give them the cup. They won't be stopped at this rate. With Eamonn back that just gives them even more firepower. Their backs will be too strong for Cilles small forwards and I expect a similar result to last night. Will the lads be expected to play the hurling match on the Saturday then the football the following day? Shouldn't really matter anyway
