Don't often comment on club games but i wonder can rathoath win it, they seem to fly at group stage then fail come knock out, hope its not the case this time. Of course id prefer to see cilles or even bracks win it. But i think with the talent rath have they deserve to be in senior.

Cortown -vs- St Michael's: The Micks will get their campaign back on track here. - ST. MICHAEL'S
Nobber -vs- Donaghmore/Ashbourne: Nobber going well. Hard to see past a third win for them - NOBBER
St. Colmcille's -vs- Syddan: The Cille's should add another win against an out of form Syddan side - ST. COLMCILLE'S
Oldcastle -vs- Ballinabrackey: Tie of the round. Bracks recovered well against Longwood and Oldcastle drew well against the Cilles. Could be a draw but the Cavan border club could leave Navan happier - OLDCASTLE
Clann na nGael -vs- Kilmainham: The Athboy/Rathcarn side will find be happy Newman may not play but they still will do well to get a win here - KILMAINHAM
Dunderry -vs- Ratoath: Dunderry crumbled against Trim while Ratoath hammered them. Dunderry would do well to keep it below 10. - RATOATH
Trim -vs- St. Ultan's: Should be a win for Trim here - TRIM
Ballivor -vs- Castletown: Ballivor recovered well against Ultan's but they won't have it their own way against Castletown - CASTLETOWN
Drumbaragh -vs- Longwood: Longwood came close to Syddan but surrendered to the Bracks. Drumbaragh will win here - DRUMBARAGH

Going against all odds and going to say Dunderry to beat ratoath by a very narrow margin, 1-3 points!!

36inchash , stranger things have happened , last year an unfancied Ballivor took us to task in the group stages ,we seem to struggle against the physically bigger teams aswell . . Id still go for us to pip Dun Doire

Can't see many surprises this weekend. Going with St Michaels, Nobber, Syddan! Oldcastle, Clanns na Gael, Ratoath, Trim, Castletown and Drumbaragh. Ratoath and Nobber have to be favourites in an open championship

Nobber seem to be back moving well again, good result Friday night. And the Micks pulled it out of the bag late on when they really needed it, they never give in and will be a difficult side to beat. Wouldnt read into the Colmcilles result too much, Syddan very poor at the back and no surprise to see them concede what they did. Strange the county board have the Castletown game fixed for Wednesday seeing as they have a few who will tog out for the county juniors the evening before.

Ballinabrackey gave Oldcastle a fair beating last night, could well be finalists again this year

Couple of surprises mid-week in group B! Ballivor seem to have really gotten into gear after a poor start. It will be very interesting in that group until the end I suspect.

Ballivor by 2...not the prettiest on the eye but very effective particularly with Geoghan and Kelly in the forwards who cause havoc! Castletown didn't seem to have a game plan, have to say Ross looked jaded from his exploits on Tuesday evening!
Really think Nobber could win this, they seem to be fit and well able to mix it when needs be! Ratoath won't like teams hitting them in the knock-out stages

A full strength Nobber just beat Ratoath on Thursday night in a game Ratoath should have won without 5 of there county players
There are other teams out there to worry about but Nobber did not overly impress in that game.
