Jeas RatoathRoyal you're like a SkySports reporter reporting from outside Sean Eiffe Park with the latest updates from the Ratoath camp...anything else to note from the team? I hear young Colm Boyle is flying in training

Ah Ratoath Royal , sensitive much? What has happened last 2/3 years after you finally won the Junior?? Still the same players, all your Meath lads still played ,Any team in any county that contains 5 players on the county panel that doesn't win a Senior Championship never mind a Intermediate should be regarded as bottlers in my eyes End OF

Although in fairness to ye, I don't agree with the game going ahead in Duleek, Kip of a pitch
Should be in Trim , Ashbourne , or one of the better pitches

Once it was played on a Week night to suit both clubs I hear as all the Dubs in both did not want to play on All Ireland Final Day and Hurling took over Navan on the Saturday there are few venues suitable. No Lights in Trim or Navan, Asbourne, Dunshaughlin and Donore pitches all closed, Skryne lights not good enough so not many places left is there

Everyone constantly goes on about Ratoath being unable to win Intermediate with 5 county players. Well this is our first year we've had those five on the panel and we've won all 6 games so far by a combined margin of 69 points. Do ye want us to have won the IFC without it even being finished yet?

Since winning Junior, we were beaten in the last eight by a very talented Kells team who are now in the top 4 teams in the county. And last year we came a cropper against a Ballinabrackey side whose passion and hard work that day we couldn't match. That time, we had 2 county players on the team.

And those same players that are now on the county panel are now 3 years older than they were in Junior. 3 of them were still under 18 at the time. Surely you don't need me to explain why they weren't as able to compete against guys in their late 20s or early 30s back then as they are now.

Mmmmmmmm kells are in a senior semi final alright but i dont honestly think they are one of the top 4 teams in county. Not overly familiar with Ratoath apart from seeing Syddan play them off the park last year in navan. Colmcilles with biggy in flying form and a good spattering of dubs throughout the team seem to be going well. Is there many originally from laytown left on team ?

St Colmcilles V Ratoath - If Ratoath play to their full potential they will take this one, joey wallace to come back into the firing line gives them numerous options up front, joey, eamonn, bryan Mc & Bobby O B and q/f top scorer rooney, midfield could be a good battle and here is where cilles just might be stronger but with Power & Mc gill waiting for them through the highway it could be difficult, interesting to see who picks up biggy,id imagine they will double up on him and try contain him to a few scores.Bracks frustrated Ratoath for 40 minutes and cilles could do the same but the cream will come to the top in the end.......Ratoath by 4-5 points

Trim V nobber - Two strong physical teams who were competing at senior ranks up to a few years ago, could go either way,i think Nobber have one or two just better individuals which could swing it their way but would not be putting money on either team.....Nobber by 1-2 points

Ziggy 32001 , glad to inform you but unfortunely we are hampered by injuries for tonight's game here in Duleek.
