Pity we are missing Gillespie and Kev Reilly,physical players with experience. ziggy320001 (Meath) - Posts: 2432 - 24/01/2015 19:10:01 1686074 Link 0 |
Royalio, Under Mick O'Dowd our away form in the league has improved markedly. Last year we lost once, that day in Clones which I try not to remember and the same the year before. jackhackett (Meath) - Posts: 773 - 24/01/2015 20:11:46 1686088 Link 0 |

Yes away has improved home record has not been as good. To be honest home or away shouldn't make a difference win at all costs. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 25/01/2015 11:01:33 1686158 Link 0 |
Royaldunne Agreed Attitude is vital all round....no excuses..[injuries etc. every team has to deal with that]. we are no exception..we simply have to be promoted this year. nobull456 (Meath) - Posts: 1224 - 25/01/2015 11:59:21 1686174 Link 0 |
Yep nobull. That's it in a nutshell. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 25/01/2015 12:16:16 1686180 Link 0 |
Don't think promotion is essential,relegation(not been) is essential.. ziggy320001 (Meath) - Posts: 2432 - 25/01/2015 13:03:31 1686188 Link 0 |
dont buy into the injuries claim anymore , weve been dogged with "injuries" for how many seasons ?Mod should have in place the required subs to fill in these roles, bar one or two .As ziggy says avoiding relagation is a no brainer ,however i think its sink or swim for Mick and promotion is the aim , although he is now our longest serving manger in a long time . royalpainter (Meath) - Posts: 874 - 25/01/2015 15:15:57 1686215 Link 0 |
Let's remember - Meath were playing in Div.3 in 2012 and therefore away games against weaker teams. Royalio11 (Meath) - Posts: 757 - 25/01/2015 17:14:10 1686239 Link 0 |
Yes id agree it could go either way. But one thing is i feel too many people would be happy with mid table. I wont be. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 25/01/2015 17:59:18 1686252 Link 0 |
Yes too many ifs, buts and excuses .Agreed its sink or swim this year. Not too much to expect that we get promotion to top 8 and div 1. Meath football will benefit from that.I am at a loss to understand how we could settle for anything less this year,if we want to be objective in measuring progress from last year . nobull456 (Meath) - Posts: 1224 - 25/01/2015 18:01:02 1686253 Link 0 |
Away games in 2013 while in Division 3 were against Monaghan, Roscommon, Antrim and Wicklow. jackhackett (Meath) - Posts: 773 - 25/01/2015 18:42:26 1686264 Link 0 |

Indeed i too am very excited. The past few years can be put behind us with promotion, and that starts with a win in salt hill. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 25/01/2015 20:45:35 1686337 Link 0 |
We owe galway. I hope we are quick out of the traps and tear galway asunder. bert09 (Meath) - Posts: 1790 - 25/01/2015 21:25:19 1686358 Link 0 |
