absolutely . Are these games treated like competitive league or championship games ? How is the selection process done ? I presume a few from each club to keep all clubs interested .

The Under 16s took 2 teams (green and gold randomly split) to Athlone on Saturday where they took on Westmeath and Sligo who brought 1 team each as well as Cork who had 2 teams. One team played Sligo which they one by about 10 points, and then lost narrowly to Cork. I believe the other team lost both games against the other Cork team and Westmeath, but competed well against them. I firmly believe that had we played only one team on Saturday we would have beaten Westmeath comfortably as they had only had one team out. Over the last few years, this crop of players have beaten most of the teams they have played, including Cavan, Monaghan, Kildare, Laois, Louth and Dublin and ran Tyrone very close last summer.

Yeah either they should all bring one team or all bring two teams imo.
