Donaghmore/Ashbourne V Na Fianna....Promises to be a great Game of Football and i will be shouting on our Neighbours in this one and expect them to take care of D/A who always seem to come up short at this stage of the Championship. thelutch (Meath) - Posts: 1050 - 01/10/2014 14:22:09 1659000 Link 0 |
Are the semi's a double header in Navan? Jack_Goff (Meath) - Posts: 2920 - 01/10/2014 14:50:07 1659029 Link 0 |
I will go with Don/Ash and Navan which would be a great final and the clash of the 2 big towns in the county! Would be great to see Don/Ash make their first final in a long time and I'm confident that they will. AB13 (Dublin) - Posts: 100 - 02/10/2014 09:57:41 1659239 Link 0 |
I think Don/ash and tones are unbeaten this year in championship so far. While NOM and Na Fianna have been patchy.. So would will have to go for a Tones Don/Ash final. Forglory (Meath) - Posts: 85 - 02/10/2014 11:37:12 1659275 Link 0 |
Good man Lurch I always knew you valued my predictions and sat on the edge of your seat waiting.... so here they are after much taught I fully expect to get 100% right this week end glenny (Meath) - Posts: 1108 - 02/10/2014 12:19:37 1659298 Link 0 |
I believe Ash have beaten Na Fianna twice this year, alot of motivation for the Enfield club, but I think Ash may grind out a victory here. ziggy320001 (Meath) - Posts: 2432 - 02/10/2014 12:48:44 1659314 Link 0 |
"When O'Mahonys are good they are great and nobody will beat them when they are on form, even without Reilly, they have quality all over the field,a lot of experienced players and some good young players too.Put McKeigue on Ward and I cannot see Wolfe Tones winning.." can you not read, the once they beat Tones was in 2012 final, so what. Ziggy the fact you are talking about the current O mahoney's is exactly my point, the team of a few years back was a very good team, this one is very poor by comparison Analyst (Meath) - Posts: 1468 - 02/10/2014 20:02:27 1659531 Link 0 |
Analyst-Did they not win in 1990 so in last 24 years of competition that means 4 championships and obviously no one has won yet in 2014 as that will not be known for another couple of weeks. Skryne have won 5 in the last 24 years. On the matches at the weekend I think anyone of those left can beat anyone else on the day as there has been no outstanding club in the county over a long number of years. Past records will count for little on Saturday or Sunday. browncows (Meath) - Posts: 2342 - 02/10/2014 21:08:08 1659567 Link 0 |

Wouldnt read much into "x have never beaten y" stuff. Sure wind the clock back 15 months and Meath had never lost a championship match to Tyrone or Armagh. All's changed now though. CastleBravo (Meath) - Posts: 1650 - 03/10/2014 10:46:55 1659640 Link 0 |

Easy for Ashbourne in the end, Na Fianna missed a peno and went down to 13 at the start of the second half. Crazy stat on Twitter, Don/Ash's first senior final since 1943! RR (Meath) - Posts: 139 - 04/10/2014 19:31:55 1660168 Link 0 |
