Save your money Skryneman. Dunboyne won't lose it, 3rd final in 3 years. Good experience there now with this group. Colmcilles have plenty of good footballers but they will bottle it if its close. They might put up a fight for 20mins but expect a runaway success for Dunboyne after that. Colmcilles always have good footballers but when it comes to the crunch they go missing. Can't recall them being in a minor championship final in at least 10 years

Not going over in that weather....prediction, jones man of the match,he'll lord the middle of the park. Commiskey is a proven goalscorer and he'll hit 2 or 3 again. Cilles defense is too young and too slow, there forwards got lucky frees in the semi. Shoulda been skryne v summerhill final but I'll let Dunboyne have this one as they bet us well and shoulda won last year! Dunboyne to win by 14 at least.

Refereeing was poor never a penalty after that blew a free and gave a hop ball and should have left Cills kick that 45 at the end. He did not seem to know the rules

Dunboyne were stronger and their win was fully merited. The nerves seemed to get to DB in first half when they were very wasteful. Cilles tactic of using Savage as a sweeper worked well as got in a lot of ball and used it well. Cilles were much more efficient and they did better when Poynton came out to CHF. Once DB got the peno and Jones took over at midfield it just seemed a question of when they would push on but Cilles made them sweat for it. Overall it was a disappointing match after the excitement of the u21 final.

I presume you mean Ronan Jones, while not one of his better games he was still very prominent throughout. Some great high fielding in the middle of the park and great point off his left near the end to seal the victory. Hard to believe he is minor again next year definitely one for the future.

Congrats to Dunboyne. They just about deserved their victory.A lucky deflected goal was the difference on the scoreboard in the end.

Not as exciting as the u21 match beforehand, but still absorbing. It was a real defenders game with both sets excelling in snuffing out each others main scoring threats.Conlon and Poynton were well shackled likewise McEntee and Cumiskey for DB.

Strenght was what won it in the end for Dunboyne. Cilles are a very young outfit with 12 of their staring 15 eligible again next year.
This experience will definitely stand to them. Should be bookies favs for 2015.

Agree with Glenny re penalty for foot block.Very very harsh on the Blues. Can't undertstand what else the defender could have done. His foot was planted firmly and he was a good distance away from the kicker.

St Colmcilles can be very proud of what they achieved in this campaign.

Your cousin is right. This lad is the real deal has already played senior football with Dunboyne and will play for Meath Seniors within the next couple of years.

Kepak 10 I agree that was wasn't a penalty but then Keeley was hacked again and had the ball down when the ref went in and gave a throw up so it balanced itself

hardluck to colmcilles better team on the night would of liked to see them take the win. dunboyne to me only look good on paper. colmcilles were definetly not on top notch form but they showed sportsmanship which dunboyne don't seem to recognise. both full forward lines wernt productive but mostly reflecting on the dunboyne full forward line. thought they threw it away in the first half with the amount of wides...

One of dunboynes worst performance all year and they still won. Both teams battled hard but dunboyne seemed to want it more. the better team won but cillies will be hot favourites for next year as a lot of there players are underage next year.
