Anyone know is the team going to be named before tomorrow evening . I for one won't travel if it's not , it would look like MOD hasn't a clue off his best 15 or where to play them . mmc (Meath) - Posts: 268 - 01/08/2014 10:13:30 1629260 Link 0 |

Bob, DC half-back or half-forward? GlasagusOr (Meath) - Posts: 1348 - 01/08/2014 11:19:10 1629311 Link 0 |
Unless there are injury concerns ,i can see no good reason why team is not named at this stage. Any ideas about it being tactical is rubbish. Armagh are not shaking in their boots for this one. Lets hope this is not injury concerns. Lets also hope that this is not some immature rubbish. Unlikely that MOD would see any value in this silly game playing with this team. I expect to see one hell of a back lash from Meath, with a spirited performance that gives us at least 2 points win !! MEATH ABU nobull456 (Meath) - Posts: 1228 - 01/08/2014 11:46:44 1629330 Link 0 |

But sure look it, MOD naming a team doesn't mean much, he has a habit of changing things around just before throw in anyway so what you see on the programme means sweet f a. After the last day MOD could drop 10 lads but of course that isn't realistic, without naming names, I'd imagine 2 or 3 lads may have to sit this one out but I'm only guessing because I have no sources. I couldn't imagine that the players don't know today if they're playing tomorrow . I couldn't imagine this being the case . I just hope players are played in their best positions and MOD stops this continuous switching of players . It's quite evident that to many players don't know what they are meant to be doing . mmc (Meath) - Posts: 268 - 01/08/2014 13:32:53 1629407 Link 0 |
I'd say it is a case of MOD feeling under real pressure to get a result ... it has become his biggest game as Meath manager to date given the LF result/performance. He probably wants to give nothing away that might lessen any advantage. GlasagusOr (Meath) - Posts: 1348 - 01/08/2014 13:47:19 1629419 Link 0 |
ciaran mckeever out for armagh, although i dont wish injury on anyone, but this makes meath's task that bit easier, he was man of the match in last game, and is an exceptional leader and captain for them redser123 (Meath) - Posts: 404 - 01/08/2014 14:45:45 1629461 Link 0 |
If Bob says he knows the he knows. Bob is one of the most respected posters on hs. And its unfair to ask him to name what he thinks team is before as we all know it would be team selected . royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 01/08/2014 14:56:21 1629465 Link 0 |
i see paul grimley trying the mind games with the ref for tomorrow maybe he feels Meath might get the rub of the green with this Clare ref now wouldnt that be a travesty. bobkarlgees (Meath) - Posts: 1263 - 01/08/2014 15:18:35 1629483 Link 0 |
