Humid conditions a concern, especially in last 15 mins. Think McDonagh will start instead of Newman.

Best of luck to players management tomorrow and safe journey to all traveling. Time to put these cocky arrogant dubs in their place (beneath Meath).
Bring it on. Meath by 2.

Newman MUST start in my opinion.. McDonagh scored a goal against Kildare, but also missed clear chances..

Should be a nice wee game for about 50 mins then the Dubs will go up though thr gears leaving the royals gawking in awe at the team of super and superior athletes which the Dubs are.

Dubs by 10 to 15 points and major recriminations in Meath thereafter.

Any about history, tradition etc you can forget about it.

The most one-sided performance I have ever witnessed.

Going forward to face an Ulster side. Not looking good

Dublin were excellent, no excuses, we were never in contention, and the Dubs could have won by so much more... soul searching needed now!

Mattemax. U are a disgrace to meath football. Do you think that any of those lads went out to be beaten like that. Of course it's disappointing but the writing on the wall after 10 minutes they were running through us. Just one of those days get on with it and get our heads together for qualifiers. I agree some of our players are not up to it but yours sentiments are totally uncalled for

Mattlemax Indeed only Kevin Reilly, Stephen Bray, and Michael Newman [in the later stages] were up to the required standard on the day. An awful lot of hard lessons learned on the day for a lot of people

Lets face it we were never gonna beat that display by Dublin today..However,our own display was awful,Micko panicked and made far too many changes,in terms of positional etc.Taking Kev out of full back? Players being switched like musically chairs? I thought the ref gave them an awful lot in the first half, and simply,we threw in the towel early in the second.I thought those days had gone.

Matthemaxt you're full of sh1t, this is the best Dublin team of all time bar none, saying that about your own team belittles you, they fought hard but just came up against an unstoppable train.

You need to get used to it for a few rears but don't run down your own county men it ain't the meath way as I know it.

Don't think Meath fought hard to be fair...

Looking at it though,Dublin look like professionals in an amateur game.

Look we seemed afraid of dublin the old cliche of us not fearing dubs is gone we looked petrefied of them from throw in. A few lafs were below what they should have been too many position changes etc from management. But the biggest worry is we were out on our feet after 20 mins. What was all the training for? Humid conditions all taken into account we should not have tired that easily.
It is all now down to armagh game it really is do or die in so many ways.
