no real surprises in the team line-up,but I would like Keoghan to switch with Menton(may happen too),still very concerned about Meade and SOR,they will both tire after 50mins,and Flanagan is not ready to come on and perform in a game like this..

Happy with that starting team. Alot has been made of Dublins strenght in depth and the impact that their subs have and rightly so, its undeniable. I do think however that people should not underestimate the impact the Meath subs could have on a game. In the forwards, Bray, Wallace and McDonagh are well capable of doing serious damage if brought on in the last 20 minutes against a tiring back line. Also, Burke and Kenny have plenty of experience and can help fill any gaps in what is sure to be a tired Meath full back line at that stage of the game, they would be only raring to go when brought on.

I would have went with Dalton Mac Donagh instead of Brian Mc Mahon. I think he is a big goal threat. I think Keogan and Menton will switch. Otherwise its a strong team.

I would expect a change to be announced before throw in. Dalton McDonagh to start instead of Brian Meade, and Andrew Tormey to move to midfield.

Long ball man, not sure youre right about McDonagh ahead of McMahon. Sure McMahon has fired in a few goals for us this year.
McDonagh doesnt have the same pace and might struggle against some of the Dublin backs.

Would be surprised if Menton plays in the corner, much more suited to a role further out the field, probably switch with Keoghan or Harnan. Actually kind of surprised to see Newman back in, on the one hand I would have liked to see both McDonagh and McMahon start, with Newman to come on in 2nd half, but that's why MOD has the job. Concerns about several players over 70mins. Can't really argue with any of the selections though, is a good team and if it's still there with 10mins to go, I actually think we can cause an upset. Upwards and onwards!

Ya it is not important to be ahead at half time in my opinion, the important thing is to be in with a shout in the last ten minutes. In a way,we may be better off with Dublin actually having a decent start, and ourselves working into the game, getting better as the game goes on.Do we want to start like a house onn fire and run out of steam?

Would be delighted if Meath competed for 72 mins on Sunday, regardless of the result this would show progress and should leave us closer on the scoreboard at the end giving the group a lot of confidence going into the next match

Think joey Wallace or mc donagh will start ahead of mc Mahon. There will be a few changes before throw in

After all the talk about the game it is upon us. I've looked at that dub team and if I'm honest I think in the match ups we are pretty even in lots of positions. Yeah you'd have to give them the verdict in some but apart from that I think we can hold our own at the very least

I'm happy to see Kevin Nolan , Alan Brogan, Paddy Andrews, and kevin mcmeniman starting. Let's hope they hold off as long as possible putting their best team on the field, namely Jack mccaffrey, Paul mannion, Cormac Costello, Eoghan o gara.

im happy enough with that team dalton mc donnagh has cause to be disappointed. however i feel he could have a big say in how we get on on sunday , he likes to be near the goal and can win breaks and creates chances .
My biggest concern is the match ups in the back, Who will mark who ?
.kevin reilley on b brogan happy enough
.keoghan on Alan brogan happy enough our 2 best defenders on theyre 2 best attackers but i fear it could be flynn and connolly that will do the damage
