Lilywhite1 - I can confirm that 10-15 years ago, the Dublin Board appointed 100 full time GAA coaches to the primary schools; they hold 1hour classes there each week (I believe?) and coach parttime volunteer coaches as well as the kids...

Also heard that Jim Gavin rarely says anything to the players, he has them all fearful for their place on the team, even an injury is no excuse and they are out - that leads to serious competition.
