Meath Juniors 2014

It appears to me that the junior grade is not taken seriously by the players or the Co Board when in the matter of weeks the previous game winning team can be decimated by the absence of so many key players. The fact that the players didn't feel enough pride in representing their county that they had to go in the space of 2-3 weeks says a lot about our current climate , and apathy towards playing in this grade. if it was the Senior panel what would have been done to change the players minds, cover the costs of new tickets etc. What did the Co Board do to try prevent this type of exodus. Is this a junior Provincial title or more gone a begging. Would they have won,if these guys were available?. At present we're not exactly overflowing with titles of any sort We'll never know now. But it would have been nice to have tried....

Castle Lawn - i don,t get your point? The "junior" grade is a joke. No Ulster County even enters a team - Cavan play in Leinster, Dublin???? Do they enter???? Who cares who wins it. Get over yourself and watch a couple of games in the World Cup. Senior grade is where it's at, you sound like a "junior" player who fancied getting a run on this team but weren't good enough?? And your "grammer" needs some work too........
