Anyone not at Davis Cup semi final last night missed out on a cracker, game played at championship pace, and championship intensity. A great game with Trims fitness really proving the difference, Kildalkey are strong but I can see Trim making a serious impact on this years championship.

Agree. Great game. Trim showed great desire with 10 mins to go. Have Kildalkey lost that ruthless, killer instinct they once possessed???? Trim has youth and great skill throughout team, Kildalkey were excellent in first half but lost all composure in second half when Trim rallied.

Well after the weekend fixtures Trim remain the only unbeaten team in the county after a good win over kildalkey while killyon won comfortably against boardsmill can we read much into these results or is it to early should make for an intriguing final with both clubs goin well. So heres my ratings from what I've seen and heard so far.
1. Trim unbeaten so far so have to be top and will be hoping to be right in it
2. Kildalkey first defeat but still lookin good and will take a good team to beat them still see themselves and kiltale as two favourites
3. Kiltale still could be team to beat and should top group
4. Killyon seem to be motoring well and could be in shake up
5. Kilmessan only here on league form still expect to be right in it
6. Boardsmill taught they would be closer today nut could still make it out of group
7. Longwood will struggle to replicate last year and will prob battle woith boardsmill for a quarter spot
8. Dunboyne have disappointed so far but maybe they trying something different this year
9. Navan hot and cold so far don't expect them to progress
10. Blackhall should have enough to stay up and maybe cause a shock
11. Na fianna could be in trouble this year
12. Rathmolyon don't seem to be going well but always capable of a shock or 2

missed the matches this weekend. Kildalkey losing is a shock of sorts but they are not the team they were. delighted for young up and coming trim team. as I said before, killyon are dark horses this year

Kildalkey still have some serious talent and should be finishing teams at that stage, Pat O Halloran looked a very angry man after the loss..

Kildalkey won't be beaten easily in the championship but they not the team they were but with times like these what team is they may deal with it like the rest if us .

Here are the fixtures and my predictions for what they are worth

Friday 13 June

Kilmessan v Blackhall Gaels 19:30 Páirc Tailteann KILMESSAN HOT FAVOURITES BUT BLACKHALL HAVE A GREAT YOUNG VERY SKILLFUL SIDE. KILMESSAN BY A FEW POINTS BUT YOU NEVER KNOW IN THIS ONE

Saturday 14 June

Trim v O'Mahonys 17:30 Páirc Tailteann CANNOT LOOK BEYOND TRIM AND BY A DECENT MARGIN
Boardsmill v Rathmolyon 17:30 Trim HARD ONE TO CALL BUT PROBABLY BOARDSMILL BY 5-7 POINYS

Monday 16 June

Na Fianna v Killyon 19:30 Kildalkey WALK IN THE PARK FOR KILLYON
St Peter's, Dunboyne v Kiltale 19:30 Trim KILTALE BUT WILL BE GIVEN A VERY TOUGH MATCH

Tuesday 17 June

Longwood v Kildalkey 19:30 Trim TO ME THE TIE OF THE ROUND. KILDALKEY LOOK BACK TO SOME DECENT FORM AND LONGWOOD MADE THE FINAL LAST YEAR. I SAY KILDALKEY BY 5 POINTS

Friday 13 June

Kilmessan v Blackhall Gaels 19:30 Páirc Tailteann Have to be honest here and say that i cant see Kilmessan being in any fear, will win by 8 or 9

Saturday 14 June

Trim v O'Mahonys 17:30 Páirc Tailteann Trim in unstoppable form and will win convincingly
Boardsmill v Rathmolyon 17:30 Trim Could go either way, Rathmolyon could shock them but Boardsmill should by 4 or 5

Monday 16 June

Na Fianna v Killyon 19:30 Kildalkey Killyon easily 10+
St Peter's, Dunboyne v Kiltale 19:30 Trim Hard to call but Kiltales class all over the field will prove the difference

Tuesday 17 June

Longwood v Kildalkey 19:30 Trim This is the big one and Kildalkey should do it, will be a great game but Kildalkey have had a very high intensity game against Trim and know where they are at so Kildalkey by 3 or 4

Kilmessan v blackhall. Blackhall after a good win today could push kilmessan all the way but kilmessan will win but not by much.

Trim. V O'Mahonys. Well trims unbeaten run came to a halt today and by some margin but will still win by 5 or 6

Boardsmill v Rathmolyon Boardsmill took another good beating today their early good form seems to be leaving them. Rathmolyon finally got a win and this one could be a draw

Kiltale v Dunboyne. Contrasting fortunes today Dunboyne with a big win while Kiltale lost narrowly Kilt ales class should tell and they should sneak it by 2 or 3

Killyon v Na Fianna Killyon continue their winning ways today with another good win over Kiltale and prob the form team this year so far. Na Fianna lost again can only be one winner here Killyon by 10

Longwood v Kildalkey Another big win for Kildalkey today and are the team to beat this year I think. Longwood lost today and not sure if they can replicate last year cant see kildslkey losing this. Kildalkey by 7 or 8

Kilmessan v blackhall - Kilmessan but not as easy as people will expect.
Trim. V O'Mahonys - Trim should win with ease
Boardsmill v Rathmolyon - Tight affair, just think Boardsmill can edge it
Kiltale v Dunboyne - Another tight affair, Dunboyne seem to be struggling early in year which is a big change. Usually flying at this stage and then fall apart when it matters. Saying this I still think kiltale will have enough to edge it by 3 or 4
Killyon v Na Fianna - Killyon easily by large margin
Longwood v Kildalkey - Kildalkey will atone for last years championship defeat, longwood have lost their surprise factor. Teams seem to be able to set up better for them now. Kildalkey by 5 or so

Kilmessan V Blackhall: Kilmessan by 5-7 points. not as easy as everyone thinks
Trim V O'Mahonys: Trim by 4 points. O'Mahonys will put up a fight, but not enough in the tank in the end
Boardsmill V Rathmolyon: Rathmolyon by 1 or 2 points. Close game with nothing in it at the end
Kiltale V Dunboyne: Kiltale by 5 if Jack Regan is back, if not Dunboyne to sneek it
Killyon V Na Fianna: Killyon to cointune their winning streek and win by 4
Longwood V Kildalkey: Kildalkey to win by 6, to much in the tank for the wood men

Was at the Kilmessen Blackhall Gaels match last night. I will tell you one thing - Blackhall could have a big influence in the SHC this year. They were the better team for 40 minutes and the score was not a true reflection of this match.

Playing well for forty mins against a team who are only going through the motions wont cut it for rest of the championship
Kilmessan in control when needed to be

Blackhall did well for 40mins but in reality Kilmessan haven't Really started training and were only toying with Blackhall. Tough game to call today, Trim v O Mahonys in P/T @5.30. Trim I think by 2/3 pts. O Mahonys will give them a run for their money!!

Trim won by 7 I think, finished well and looked very fit. Young Luke Moran at midfield a great talent

Blackhall were good but Kilmessan will be there in shakeup but blackhall won't. Kiltale to beat dunboyne missing too many big names. Mickey Dunne and paul fagan not available????
