How are we looking for this Saturday? would be great to get a win over the dubs especially considering the u-21's threw away a great chance to beat them.

Bit harsh to say the Under 21s threw away a great chance to beat Dublin..Remember they were missing E.Wallace,Anthony Forde and James McEntee for that one..

I don't know, the lads hammered a bad Wicklow side and Wicklow lost to Westmeath by 12 the last day,so Meath are coming into this game cold..Where is the match being played?

Getting excited about this one. Regardless of the competition Meath v Dublin always brings excitement.
Hard to know how it will pan out. Daire Rowe will surely be a marked man.
Up to the other lads like Comiskey and Heaney to step up to the plate.

Not gonna lie, I am absolutely bulling that its in Parnell park. What are Leinster council playing at??
People can call it sour grapes when we moan about it, but it seems to be every time we play them, its on their ground/on their terms (21s). disheartening to say the least.

Buuuut the chance to beat them in their own park does appeal!! Get behind them lads, COYBIG

One of the main reason why I think Dublin will edge this...

Seem to be strongly represented by South Meath clubs must be a lot of good work being put in in underage structures.

Being in Parnell Park I knew Dublin would just about pinch this.. When will they have to travel to Meath?

Dublin 0-15
Meath 0-12

More frustration for the Royals

Yet ANOTHER narrow loss to the Dubs. We are like Louth playing Meath now and the days of beating them are long gone. Every loss makes it that little bit harder the next time. I'm am sick to the teeth losing narrowly to the Dubs time and time again.

I don't see what everyone is complaining about having to play in Parnell Park. It's an open draw and Dublin came out first. From listening to the commentary I felt Dublin were the better team and always had an extra gear to go up when required.

Disapointing.. tried hard though, but Dubs had to much in the tank, seemed to have another gear and kicked alot more wides than Meath

No complaining, that's the road to nowhere, if we're losing then we're doing something wrong, correct the errors, do better next time and we will start to beat the Dubs again.

I can't believe there is not a post since Saturday!

What's the story everyone, do we just crawl back under a stone and hide. Do we think that losing to Dublin by three points is OK?

This group of footballers had lots of talent, is it possible there might be a problem with the preparation?

Very surprised both Sean O'Hanrahan and Niall Moriarty from Curraha are not on the Meath Minor team, never mind the panel. Both players easily good enough to get a starting position.

Big lack of interest in Minors this year dont understand it they had potential had a few North Meath lads for a change but it seems something was lacking from the start.... I wonder late at night and early in the morning about it. Come to think of it it was the same with the U-21s
