Replying To LeitrimRoyal99:  "2-8 to 1-10. A one point loss, good fightback after starting 2-1 to 0-0 down. Hopefully the 17's fare better in their semi"
they will be bitterly disappointed to give away that start, but overall a good campaign and they will be serious contenders for leinster in 2017.

They should be and with 3 of their best players up with the 17's now, in particular Costello and McBride they'll only get stronger next year

yeah, the only problem is none of those 3 are Kildare or Dublin. Really hope they do push on next year and win a Leinster. Important to start putting good underage teams back to back

They have been vulnerable to conceding goals. Showed great charachter to come back even struck post for goal attempt early in second half and Monaghan came straight down and got a point
Changes made during game made a big improvement as we were losing physical battle in first half

James o Hare did well. Luke Kelly had a super game. Oisin Mccloskey was great when introduced. None of our forwards had their best game in difficult conditions No 24 did well when came on - quick hands in build up to goal and got a nice point. Monaghan 11 is a super player and their no 7 also impressed me.

See the 17 manager Kearns got Sportsperson of the month for July. Rightly so, good to see achievement being rewarded. Hope they do the biz next week. Changed to midweek now , doubt I'll make it. Please update if anyone there

Can not wait for this, Tyrone haven't played since the Ulster final in May, this is a chance for our lads to play an All Ireland Final in Croker, massive opportunity

Good luck to the lads v Tyrone. Big game will demand a big performance. Take nothing for granted as not doubt Tyrone will be well prepared. Had a big win over a good Cavan side in Ulster so all to do.

Best of luck to the Meath U17s in Breffini tonight . When they play to their potiental they are a match for anyone . They however have to work hard for the full match as Tyrone are a good side unlike Carlow et al . However I believe this group of players have already played this Tyrone age group before so they know they have to work hard . Best of luck , As it's mid week I shall not be able to get there but , I lol be booking my AI time slot . An Mhi Abu

No dont think Meath ever played them competitively before but then I reckon you may know better and may have played tyrone in some important blitz somewhere. Hopefully all will go well and we may get another day out. Management have done a fantastic job with these young lads.

Cheers for the best wishes, it's before your semi final with Tyrone, was looking at tickets to hopefully book tonight, prices are an absolute joke. Cheapest Ticket is 95 euro

Difficult start. Tyrone are a serious outfit at all age levels.

Disappointing lmfm don't have this game live, it's an all Ireland semi final and where a county starved of success, surely the level of interest would of been high in the county, anyway best of luck to meath in the second half a difficult start but we seemed to have come back into it
